    You can equip companions but not regular troops.

  2. Proposal for Controller Scheme

    Well I use the option for auto-aim, or based on enemy position - I think might be worded that way.  Seems fine.

    I wish there was an option to re-assign the L3 and R3 buttons.  The recent patch gave an option to disable R3 zoom, but I don't want to keep switching that on and off, because I definitely need it on during sieges to use my crossbow.

    On a totally unrelated side note, Khergit castle defense is terrible!  I can take a castle from them with an equal number of Swadian knights versus their Lancers and Horse Archers, and totally destroy them, having like maybe 10 of my men killed out of 150 or more.  Mind you I'm not complaining too much...

    Yeah, well I have that on - it's the default.  But like I said when it's just a pile of troops it's hard to see the ones that ~don't~ have the banner over them.  I suppose it would have been tough IRL as well...

    Try disconnecting from the internet... seriously.

    Turn off your router and restart the PS4.


  5. Option to create Custom Banner

    Does anyone else have trouble identifying enemies?  Sometimes it's just a pile of units in a big rugby scrum and it's seriously difficult to pick out the units that ~don't~ have a banner over them.

  6. Corrupted save (CE-33108-5)

    With the slow saves I have found two things that helped.  Delete some stuff off the HD and clear up some extra space.  The second thing is that when the PS4 is connected to the internet, the saves are really slow.  So turning off my router and restarting the PS4 took the save times down from 10 seconds to 2-3 seconds.

    I'm not bashing Taleworlds, they did an amazing job with this game when it came out on pc years ago. I'm just a bit tired of the game industry using players as beta testers, I feel like the idea here was to throw the game at the console community to see how they'd react while making some money for bannerlord at the same time.

    Still, Taleworlds, you made one of the best game I've ever played. You just didn't need to rip me and the console community off with that console version.

    I agree with all that... I am currently on my fourth playthrough on PS4, with all three prior saves getting corrupted.

    I'm an adaptive guy, and I love the game.  So in this playthrough I am telling myself the world ends after 1300 days or however long it takes to corrupt.  It has made for a campaign where I am focused on obtaining results, and no longer can afford to sit in castles days at a time training troops.  I am about 500-600 days in and went as a Nord vassal this time.  We control about half the map with the Khergits and Sassanids as our main rivals, Swadians are toast and the Vaegirs have one town and one castle.

    I may be able to finish the game prior to corruption but it's gonna be tough.

    Still holding out slight hopes the patch comes before the End of Days  :neutral:

    The Character tab at the bottom should also show all your skills and allow you to upgrade.  Are you possibly going into Reports > Character ?

    Ditto on the left stick thing (also happens with the right stick).  But even worse the save file corrupts on PS4 after 1300-1400 days or so.  I have posted here and on Reddit and have not heard back from a single player that has finished a game on PS4.

  13. Corrupted save data needs fix

    Yeah I started over.  My third campaign also went the way of the corrupted save.  I had hoped cleaning up my HD and/or a patch would fix the problem.

    About 5-6 hours of gameplay before the save corrupts, enemy voices become really low in pitch.  Weird and creepy.  The other commonality is there are massive declarations of treason, about one every two hours in game world time.  Hope that helps.

    The Devs have responded in some threads if you look back through the posts.  But I'm curious too - has anyone been able to finish a game on PS4?

  15. My ps4 save got corrupted but I may know why

    Try deleting a game title or two off your HD.  This speeded up my auto-save times drastically and may fix the corrupted save issue as well.

    Also there is a defrag utility.  I don't know if either of these ideas will fix it but I think they're worth a shot.

  16. Long loading times on the PS4

    I had this problem on PS4 - solved by deleting a couple of other game titles of the HD.  I'm hoping this will fix the corrupted save problem I was having as well.

  17. Treason

    Yeah I like to take the lords prisoner so I can reduce their offensive capability.  Like recently I had 5/11 of the Khergit lords in my castle's prison.  I could then focus on our other front and refused the next couple of offers for their release, as I had a lot of honor built up so I could take a couple dings to my honor.

    The other thing that really ramps up late in the game is the kings don't seem to trust anybody any more.  My king, the Sultan, trusts myself and our marshal and refuses to award fiefs to anyone else besides us two and him.

    Treason ramps up like crazy. In the two campaigns I've run, in the latter part of the game I see 5-10 lords a day get convicted of treason.  Lords disappear while I am chasing them.  I slaughtered this one lord's army and the next day I was chatting him up as a fellow lord of my faction!  It...

  19. Corrupted save data needs fix

    I just had my second campaign get the corrupted save Error, major sadness.  I love this game but I don't think I can go back to level 1 a third time...

    Both times it happened my faction was really starting to get somewhere, controlling 60% or so of the land.
