hmm.. i am a bad man myself, am using many cracked programs, but because of my redpect to the developers of this hreat hame i am not going to play and not pay for it even if i have the chance. It is hard enough for the small gamedevs to get any profit, not to mention the quality of the game and the incredibly low price. Now just to find someone with a good-por purchasing credit card.

UPD: At least get the hang of using the bow, as on those low levels its much harder to use one. "My heart's beating, my heart's beating, my hands are shaking, but i'm still shooting, im still getting the headshots!" (FPS Doug, Pure Pwnage)

20, uni student, unemoployed (looking for a job) (seems noone needs programmers with no work experience around here, but makes me wonder how one is expected to get that experience).

OFT: just saw this topic and remembered the phrase "Everyoune runs faster with a knife" (FPS Doug) from the show "Pure Pwnage".

But does the armor weight count in the world map speed too?

well, i still have the limited 6 level version, but i have come up with two, no three interesting figting styles.

1/ mounted archer. have all the armor you want and don't lose any sped. usualy use a bow, two sets of arrows and a 2h weap. if your skill is poor, just stop the horse completely before you shoot.

2/ foot archer. make your armor as light as you can afford it. the same weapon configuration, but beware of the enemy missile troops. it is just so much fun to be running backwards and making those headshots, or waiting for the mounted guy with the shield to open up at the last moment just to take an arrow that will not allow him to hit you.

3/ most interesting way. close combat on foot. here i have a fast weapon, on very long range weapon (both 1h) and two (yes two) good shields. just one shield gets smashed up too fast in intense combat. The armor is your choice, either you prefer to step aside from the hit, or take less damage from the hit. use the fast weapon on footmen and the long one on hersemen, just practice, so you can pierce them at the right moment, before they have already paased you. and choose the spot you are standing on visely (find a steep hill).

I think... well actualy i never think about things of such small importance, but stories are nice and it would be nice if tgey could be found in some special place *cough*far away from the important stuff*cough*. Did you see that squirrel?

i don't like crossbows. a friend of mine (who is lucky enough to have the full version and always brags about it when we talk about m&b) loves them, but i cant cope with the fact that you have to stand still to reload it. a standing fighter = dead fighter in my point of view.

First of all, i know this is not the place, but hi, i'm new!

On topic: i can't get that amount of dark knights, as i am still running the full-version-until-you-hit-that-stupid-level-6, but i now managed to slay off the dak knight parties that come my way. Unfortenatly i get the lvl 6 as soon as i defeat them, so i keep running from them, but it is really easy to kill them especially if you have some meat like farmers to distract them, so that they don't charge you all at once.

Anyway, i don't think you need anything more than a bow, fair amount of arrows and, preferably, a good horse. Even with the limit of 6 levels i can get my skills high enough for good headshooting with the bow that i can get my hands on.

Well, i hope getting rid of the 6th level "dear player.." message is worth the money.
