I started as a cop, and I have a second character (more of a mess about-kill all survivors) who's a zombie.

I think the Arena Expansion Mod allows you to bet higher amounts in the tournament.

The first delivery mission I took, I knew where I had to take it, and who I had to give it to ... But I saw that if I sell the goods myself I'll end up with around 90,000 denars! Instead of the poultry few hundred or so I would have got from completing the mission properly (version 0.632) ... So I sold the lot! haha!

Only problem was ... The joke was on me! I went to the guy I was supposed to be delivering the goods to, and told him that I had ... uh ... lost all of the goods so he told me that's ok, it happens. I thought 'yay! my thieving ways have made me rich!' only then to go talk to a merchant and find out that I can't trade with them, or get any more missions from them until I pay back my debt ... Of 110,000 denars!!! LOL! Stupid me!

That doesn't matter! If everyone just keeps hacking and slashing away, the battlefield would soon clear up!

It's 20 denars per slave (that's 200 denars in 'old' money )

Like I said earlier, take the river pirate quest and take all the river pirates prisoner ... By the time you complete the quest, you'll be rolling in denars!

You don't even need a shield to block a couched lance!

The other day when I was playing, I had a horsie-pile-up in the middle of the battlefield, which I managed to get stuck in. I then took a look to my right to see a bandit charging at me with a couched spear ... And there was no way I could get out of the way in time, and I didn't have a shield, either

So, I looked straight at him and held the rmb to try and block his couched spear with my sword of war ... not expecting it to work at all! lol

But it did! His spear came straight for me, and I just pushed it away with my sword, as though he had just thrust his spear at me normally!

I was always under the assumption that the couched lance was unblockable, either with a shield or without. Since what version were you able to block the couched lance?

This is the best way to make some quick cash when you start a new game.

I'd suggest do the tournament and get yourself around 300-400 denars, so you can buy yourself a regular saddle horse (or a better horse if you can afford it) and a jousting lance. Take the river pirates quest, then go hunting for river pirates, and couch lance the whole lot! Make sure you have a prisoner skill of 2 (so you can take up to 10 prisoners at once).

By the time you complete the river pirate quest, (as long as you captured and sold all the river pirates you faced) you'll have earned probably around 2000-3000 denars.

At first it was kinda funny ... Now it's getting annoying.

a) You could have used the !!!!!!SEARCH BUTTON!!!!!! that is at the top of the screen to try to find your answer.

b) Does something as simple as that really need asking?
Marnid wants Padded Cloth ... Padded Cloth ... Hmm ... Sounds like a type of armour, doesn't it? Maybe try talking to the guy selling armour in Zendar and see if he has it? He doesn't have it? Oh well, it is a big world out there! Maybe another merchant in a different town has it?

I mean, come on people! The amount of simple things being asked in this forum is even starting to get to me!

I'd say no, don't give your lame horses to Marnid

I don't think lame horse will heal at all if you have given them to Marnid and Borcha, because I don't think changes to horses can happen when they are with an NPC.

However, the advantage of this fact is that a perfectly healthy horse will never go lame if you give it to Marnid or Borcha.

I keep it as [ and ] for switching weapons and shield, but that's cos I use the arrow keys for movement.
