    Well, let's start with the Soldier/Demo update.

    The Demo isn't even used like he used to, instead being melee-only by all the noobs (which IS most of TF2) and even some of the better players. The Soldier has a new melee that owns anything it touches and speeds him up, with no down-sides. I used this and quit because of how unfair I felt it was to kill with compared to the admittedly underpowered shovel.

    Now with the engi update Engi's seem to be able to camp from a distance and aim and ****, which rally bothers me but to be honest I didn't play TOO much because I was having comp issues.

    Ok, so with the new engi update, what are your guys's thoughts on the ever-faster dying balance of the TF2 world? I'm always complaining about it after every update but meh, nothing can drop ti down TOO far. I mean, farther than it already has. Sorry if this is a similar topic to anything else...

    Ah, I think you've got your terms a bit mixed up. Eastern would include the Tales of X series, Final Fantasy, Star Ocean etc.
    Western would be Baldur's Gate series, Fallout 1 & 2, NeverWinter Nights series, Icewind Dale etc.
    ActionRPG would be Fallout 3, Oblivion, Morrowind, Fable etc.
    Guide to distinguishing the differences.

    Personally I like Western and Roguelike RPGs.

    I used the terms right... Eastern is for all RPGs mainly from Japan, and western is everything else practically. :grin:

    And sorry for sucky examples, just saying. And no way in hell is Elder Scrolls an action RPG, it's too slow of a pacing

    Lowering the scale of the chips.
    I think they went from 90Nm to 65Nm, wich results in less heat and power usage.

    Also the chips get smaller so they use less silicium what results in cheaper cards as long as their yields are good enough.

    Yes, static electricity can destroy your parts. Make sure you are grounded/discharged.

    4GB RAM should be enough.

    Just get a Motherboard with the same socket and RAM type as your other parts and you are fine if you don't want to OC allot.

    900 dollars can bring you quite far.

    Go for Windows 7.

    Go for an ATI videocard, a HD4890 is less then 200 euros here. And has roughly the same performance of the GTX275.

    About the Graphics card, I think I would rather go with a Nvidia card since I've had bad experience with ATi.
