    With 1.03:

    With 1.04beta (about 40 ingame days later):
    Current Party size limit: 518.
    Modifiers are:

    I constantly keep losing party size points but i can't tell why. Anyone got an idea?

    I tried to recreate it and now i am pretty sure it was because i ( pagan) had too many christian troops in my army. No problem with norse troops only. My bad.

    Did you change the morale system as well? My "recent events" factor jumped from about +38 to -10 within some hours for no apparent reason. Or did it always work that way?

    With the new hotfix it's alright for me again. I won't get rich, but i manage to keep my kingdom floating - not sure if i can expand anytime soon though.

    "Filling my town with rabble" won't help me in defending Lundenwic against a force of 1800 ( yes, that happend to me).

    Yeah, it kind of ruined my motivation for now. The changes are probably fine when you start a new game, but after 1000days ingame that's not really an option for me.

    I might have relied on viking troops too much, but without them i never would have been able to start my own kingdom. I have -1000 honour ( everyone distrusts me) and i am constantly at war with all christian factions + Friese now as well ( those bastards).

    I am not sure about seax lengths of the viking age (as it's a topic i still have to do more research about), but i know of a huge number of single edged swords from Norway, Denmark and Ireland. Sometimes they are wrongly called "swordseax". They definitly evolved from seaxes, but the blades are longer and they have guards and pommels like swords of the time. The most common sword hilt type in 9th century Norway was Type H. About 1/3 of all type H sword finds from Norway are single edged. The blade length of the single edged swords were about 65-85cm ( double edged blades about 75-80cm)

    Most of those sword were of poor quality compared to double edged swords - the steel and the balance wasn't as good. Some believe that the vikings forged this single edged blades themselves, while the double edged blades were probably from the franks ( only the blades, not the hilt).

    I experienced a small new bug:

    At the world map the text next to a party (number of troops and prisoners) shrinked after i recruited some bandits and won't revert to it's original size. Now i have to zoom closer than usual to read the numbers. No big deal, just thought i should mention it.

    lets wait for 1.03. I was playing a bit of L'aigle and there the game keeps 80 fps while traveling/camping

    I know, but i have fraps running anyway all the time.

    Thanks, i definitly have very good eyes, but that has nothing to do with the problem here :razz:

    Everyone should notice when a game is running with 60FPS for one second and then 20FPS the next second,...and so on. Sorry if i fail to describe the problem in a proper way.

    What PC do you have? We are aware that some players have that problem but it is commonly related to low-pc. I have one low-pc and I have no stuttering.

    It is not related to PC. This happens to everyone from what I can tell on these forums and Steam forums. I have a high end PC and there are people all over the forums with insane machines reporting this problem. I am playing other mods while I wait this to be fixed and I run the world map at 100fps. I know this is a mod assets problem and not pc because there are other mods where this happens and it is connected to the graphic assets used on the map.

    Also I did not have this problem before 1.02 and I do now. The PC did not change the program did.

    Same problem. Had to stop playing since 1.02beta.

    FX 8350, R9 280x, 16GB ram - don't think my Hardware is the issue here.

    According to fraps my FPS while travelling jump between ~20 and ~60 continiously. It results in something that's very painfull to watch. Not sure if one would call it "stuttering".
