Is Mythology the turth disguised as a Tale? or a Tale to disguise a Turth?

Going back some posts, how do the Native Americans come into this picture?

They were mostly banished people. The organization I talked about went there in order to check any traces of Tur culture and once found they eradicated all of them by calling their army who were converted Turks themselves in reality.

Is this the same "organization" that eradicated the Turkic colonies on mars?

How could the Christhians and the Islamists work together in a grand scheme against Turks while they hated each other pretty much from the beginning?

They LOVED each other. They still do not hate each other. They have a nice thing going on. A bitter-sweet relationship. They always worked together and they still are working together to make people kill each other for their amusement. Who they hate (the Neo-Christians; those that destroyed Christianity and Judaism) is Hanefi people : the incorruptible people. Those that can not be turned into slaves.

Actually popes did not hate Muslims at all. And they did not confuse Turkness with Islam either. They really hated only Turks. Neo-Islam was just another sect of Neo-Christianity (or Puppety ~ "Pope ety") they created for fun.

So the crusades was just fun times, eh?

What was so horrible in the Turkic ways that it must have been eradicated without leaving a molecule of proof?

I can not answer this question because what is beautiful and pure becomes horrible and contaminated at the hand of wrong hands.

Were those deers and birds false prophets?

They were not prophets. They ware saints. The Ascended AsKuru. They called themselves as ASIR~ ASIZ (singular: AS || plural: ASLAR ~ ASAR). (just like the OQ people called themselves as OGUR, OGUZ) They were like the scientists of their time. More productive that those in our times of course. Here is tomb of one of those:

So, there's a bird buried in there?  :???:

How famous is the above player?

Granted it's been a while since I played (a year or two  ) but I was well aquinted with the IG when it was first formed and have faced them several times on the battlefield. I don't remember you specifically but the IG has always had high standards so I'm betting you're a skilled player and a decent guy/gal!

Is Mythology the turth disguised as a Tale? or a Tale to disguise a Turth?

Ancalimon, I'm astonished that you did not manage to see the satire in my post. To clarify, my intention was to prove that science and history can be bent to fit any nationalistic purpose, and my example was indeed a very real one. The man behind these ideas was a swedish nobleman, scientist, professor and principal at Uppsala university in Sweden, a very qualified and respected man of his time. The only apparent difference between him and you is that you don't have those qualifications.

The problem with your theories is that they are flawed. I have no doubt that you have knowledge of etymological research, it is quite obvious that you do. However, the way you research languages follows a method that was deemed wrong already in the 19th century. Just because certain words in a different language are etymologically related to words in your language, doesn't mean they originated there. Is it not true that you can also compare turkic vocabulary to older languages and find related words even there?

Finally, we have the issue of sources. As is perfectly illustrated through the source to my previous post, even works by a university principal can be completely wrong and maybe even damaging. You, can't even cite works with legitimate authors. Adjiev Murad Eskenderovich who you love to cite does by his own account have a Ph.D in geography, NOT linguistics. In fact, he doesn't claim to have a degree of any kind on the subject.

I believe that was all the points I wanted to make for now.

Is Mythology the turth disguised as a Tale? or a Tale to disguise a Turth?

The more obvious explanation for the origins of the word "hestkuk/hästkuk" lies in the discovery made by swedish scientists more than 350 years ago. They concluded that sweden was in fact the lost kingdom of atlantis, and its inhabitants the first men (know as atlanteans). When atlantis sank, the inhabitants fled to the present day swedish province of west gothia, which quickly became overpopulated.

Because of this overpopulation, the people had to emigrate. These people, who later came to be known as goths (named after the above mentioned swedish province), spread out across europe settling new land and forming new kingdoms. Thus, sweden is the cradle of both mankind and civilization. It should be noted that this discovery later gained strong support from the leading scientists of Nazi germany, so it is clearly legit. With this legit and absolutely true history in mind, it is not difficult to see why so many germanic, slavic and latin etc. words can also be found in turkic languages. Eventually the settlers reached as far away regions as turkey, and with them they brought all the knowledge and customs of their ancestral lands.

I do hope that these facts can bring some clarity to this fascinating debate.

Well, we all know that making fun of americans is a widespread and popular sport in europe, but there's a fine line between joke and insult.

Also, I don't understand why people are proud to show off their bad conduct on forums, I was warned once for a silly but harmless misdeed, lesson learned.

Such as what? Still using the old pike infantry? Question still remains, what would it bring to the gameplay?

Seriously that's like saying that the zeprozhians shouldn't be in the mod because the also use cavalry with lances just like poland, both have cavalry with lances, pikes and muskets it's the same.

No. It's like saying that we don't need yet another faction that have "cavalry with lances, pikes and muskets".

I'm asking myself the question, what would adding three, four new versions of the Swedish faction (which essentially is what the suggested factions would be) bring to the game? Isn't it better then to focus the modding effort to improve on the mod we already have?

    Kära vänner!

Ever since September 2009 I've been upholding the Einherjar values under the name Einherjar_Gule. I have never been a very skilled player, and maybe that's just the reason why I've always felt welcome in this clan.

Now, I know I haven't really participated that much in any clan battles as of late, and thus can't say much of the attitude towards the scoreboard, but every time I log on to our TeamSpeak server, I still feel that same warm, welcoming feeling I felt the very first time. Friends have come and gone, and some of you I miss very much, but to me the spirit and the values are still hanging on.

Whether this clan lives on or not, I will always be Einherjar_Gule, and I will keep honoring our values of joyful friendly competition, and viking awesomeness on the servers, even if that makes me a dinosaur.

I hope that friends may one day reunite, and that in the future we can keep enjoying many nights of battling, sieging, laughing and drinking together!

    För evigt tacksam

Is Mythology the turth disguised as a Tale? or a Tale to disguise a Turth?

Ancalimon, I can't say I get what you're saying. Are you saying that you mainly use your intuition to research the etymology of a word? Which in other words is no better than a wild guess. Also, do you have any sort of linguistic education? Do you know the first thing about language reconstruction? You can't just take a take a word out of some Turkic dictionary and assume that it's related to an english word just because it looks or sounds the same. Bottom for example does not originate from anything that has to do with sinking, just because "bottom" is connected to the seafloor today doesn't mean it has always been, in fact, it originally has the meaning of "ground" as in the mass you have under your feet. The bottom of the sea is just the ground that is underneath the water. Unless you can present trustworthy sources for your assumptions, or an education that makes you qualified to make such assumptions yourself, your words have no ground to stand on and must therefore be dismissed as nothing but wild guesswork.
