I got about 40 ivory archers (actualy I got 200 of 'm but 160 are in my fort) and lordless knights as backup. Seems to work all the time, I hardly get a knockout. I try to put my archers on a high place, giving them the order to cease fire, then I let my knights go form a line before them...

Sorry to post here again with an idea of mine. * But at the start it's rather tough, since you encounter lots of enemies at once before even reaching town (I got captured 3x or so before being able to get in a town and fight my way up in the arena). So maybe making the bandit parties smaller...

It's just an idea, but would it be possible to expand village management more? Because at the moment it is rather dull and takes a very long time to make a decent village. Also very limited. I wish we were able to make a wall around a village, maybe new farms... etc. Maybe this is not for your...
