Playing with a tall character makes me feel like I'm using Mafia standover tactics over every NPC I meet in a town or village - every bit of dialogue sounds vaguely like a threat when you're standing that close and towering over them.

Honestly, despite the early bugginess, I know this will be the best game I've ever played. There's a strong base-game that builds on the excellent party management of Warband and the new features (and the possibilities for new features) mean that the mods that eventually come out will be incredible. My character's only at lvl 6, and the bugged quests have stopped me from wanting to continue playing just now.

I've had similar things happen temporarily, but either reloading the game, or reloading the inventory page fixes it. Not sure if it's the same for others.

Across two different instances of this quest, I've had different issues occur. The first was the same issue reported by imperialbastard above.

The second issue is that the brown quest notifer *does trigger*, but when I go to talk to the second village head, they say "No offence, but your duties may conflict/interfere" and then nothing else happens - as if they think I'm trying to start another version of the same quest?

Description:
I took a quest from the village head of Saldannis, then took his relative to Spotia. When I faced the village head of Spotia, their goons attacked my party. I *think* I killed all the goons, but at some point the village head of Saldannis started talking to me and offered me another quest. I'm now stuck with the relative of the Saldannis head in my party and there's no way to interact with Spotia that allows me to continue the quest.
