Yeah, That happens whenever you leave a speech check and reload. It mainly just causes a problem if I'm "scum saving" to get through dialog. Closing the game and reopening has always worked for me but it would be nice if it didn't happen

I played around with the Family Feud quest that originally triggered it for me. I found that if I start the quest but don't pick up the person I am supposed to protect and then close the campaign and reload the save it triggers this message. It doesn't cause any issues with this quest but I think it is related to reloading the save because the dialog doesn't appear under the same conditions before the reload

I found what I think is that issue and figured out what triggers it. If you exit the campaign right when you get the result of the speech check when you reload the game and then talk to the same character the problem shows up. It will have the bubbles both shown as unfilled and the dialog will show up but you are unable to progress at this point. I found this during the Family feud quest. I should also mention that exiting the game and booting it up again resolves it reliably.

I got the same issue when doing a family feud quest. Didn't stop me from progressing but it was interesting
