    Someone mentioned in other posts saying it might be the graphic card has been reset by the patch to use the integrated one instead of the dedicated. You can change it in the settings.

    It goes away when I breach the second main gate so troops can go in there without using ladders. My guess that there is an issue with the AI pathfinding algorithm which chews up the whole CPU capacity.
