    As mentioned above, the surrendering parties only give over their food (not a bug). I've been assuming the game is seeing all their equipment as "loot" that you're not taking (because, y'know, you can't since they're still alive and wearing it all).
  2. Resolved All game saves keep crashing at same stage when entering into Baltakhand.

    Same here. No mods, no cheats enabled, just playing the game. Every time I try to enter Baltakhand since 1.8 we crash.

    I can ride *past* Baltakhand, just can't try to enter town.
  3. In Progress Can't start battle 1.7.0

    Had this happen on my first battle that involved troops in addition to my own party. Took me a few minutes to figure it out.

    When it says "Missing Formation" up top, look to the usual formation number of those unit types. You'll see there's a little + button instead of the icon for that unit type. Click the +, in your case assign it to Cavalry, even if you have no melee cav. It just wants Formation 3 assigned to Cavalry even if the group is empty. Once you've done that, the Ready button ungreys and you're all set.

    When I first saw this, I only had like 10 recruits, so it was yelling at me about Archers and Cavalry. Once I assigned formation 2 to Archers and 3 to Cavalry, fixed. That said - even after I'd done those assignments once, a few battles later it forgot Cavalry for 3 (I had some actual archers by then, but still no cavalry), and I've had to reassign it a couple of times.

    So it's working... kind of, though it's pretty unclear.
  4. Resolved Cannot access brother's inventory

    Having the same issue with a new game in 1.5.4 - with the added fun that every settlement (towns, castles and villages) I visit shows a quest ! marker, and my brother is hanging around in the Lord's Hall or somewhere around the village with said ! quest marker even though he's been in my party since the rescue quest. Everywhere. I. Go. :smile:

    He doesn't actually offer a quest, but just says the bit about asking if I've made progress (Not yet is the reply), etc. It's basically the same as when you're directed to go pick him up in the nearest city after the rescue, but seems like the quest flags aren't clearing now after you do. He is in the party, fights (and can get wounded) in battles, is in the clan screen (and can be assigned a clan role) and shows up in the skills screen companion list, but isn't in the inventory queue of companions so his equipment can't be changed.
  5. Resolved Kingdoms Declaring War - Unannounced

    I haven't been seeing notices of war declarations either. But I did get a pop-up tonight when my faction made peace. At least *part* of it is implemented.
  6. AI lead party not doing so great.

    Sounds suspiciously like the bug AI lords had where they weren't buying food for their troops. Your reported results would fit with starvation - first some guys start deserting when morale gets low from having no food. Then the troops that don't desert start dying. Then your Companion's party size quickly becomes so small that every enemy lord, bandit or looter group thinks they can take them, and rightly so, and finally you get the notice your Companion's been captured.

    If it is starvation, sadly I can't help - not sure how you can make your Companions buy food for their guys. Maybe someone else has more experience with it and can offer some advice.
  7. Resolved [1.0.5] Companion Skill level starts above Skill cap - Strange Attribute distribution and Focus Points problem

    And there are at least two companions running around out there with 0 in all attributes and skills, and at level 1 with -210/5 skill points to level up to 2. All companions seem built for Vigor, Endurance and sometimes Control, and then might get a basic non-combat skill proficiency tacked on with a very low governing attribute.

    I'm thinking that companions just haven't been finished yet, just having some super basic placeholder stats. In my game, only one of the Medics (the ones starting with 60 Medicine skill) has a whopping 2 in Int, the rest have 1 or 0 in Int. Same for scouts - they'll have 60 Scouting with 0, 1 or 2 Cunning, and all their attributes dumped into Vigor and Endurance.

    Alchyla the Black in my game, as the thread title says has 0 in all Attributes, and 0 in all skills. She sure wanted 792 denars to hire her though. Pretty sure she's not worth the money. :P I'm not sure if companions are pre-set characters or not at this point (when I see so many "the Black"s...
  9. In Progress Deserter Extortion quest has -15 days time limit

    That's very possible. I had done one other deserter quest previously, though I don't remember how many game days it was before. Hopefully this all helps the devs track things down.
  10. Lords loosing men.

    When I first met the Vlandian king, I noticed he was down to 12 men. Then 11. Then 10. Dropping 1 about every 5 seconds, without being in battle. I assumed either it was starvation if the lord didn't bother to get food, or horrible morale problems and having deserters drop out one at a time.

    Quest: "Deserter extortion at Safna" Checked quest log immediately after accepting this quest, before even leaving the village. Duration for quest expiration began at -15 days. Needless to say, the quest auto-expires at the next check and fails. I noticed a couple of other bug threads about...
  12. Resolved In battle whenever I press 3 for cavalry an "INFANTRY!" shout is played instead.

    Same here, though sometimes my shout says "Footmen!" instead of infantry (female character/voice, if that matters). Messages lower left screen do display Cavalry orders though, so seems it's just the wrong audio clip playing.
