1. Hilarious youtube video called "tactical retreat"

Please give the author some love. Saw this video and wanted to share it here
2. Are not there A BIT (a lot) of women in the game? And they are playing a lot of "man" roles.

What was great about warband was the fact that you could choose to play as woman in an unforgiving, patriarchal medieval society.

You weren't respected because that was the way it was back then. The most rewarding part about Warband was the fact that your kindom was completely self made, based on your merit alone as a female character.

That's why I agree with you. It should be rarer to see a female lords leading men to battle. It does break the immersion a little bit about the historical setting.
3. 1.5.0 Beta Horse Archer formations worse than before

When I order my horse archers to charge they constantly run into enemy infantry formations and die needlessly. Before the update they avoided enemies just fine and now I need to micromanage them like it's warband all over again :(
4. Fleeing enemies mounting horses

My suggestion for the immersion in the game is that fleeing enemies would mount horses to get away faster. If I was fleeing in panic I would want to get away as fast as possible and mounting a horse would do just fine.
5. Retreat is broken

There definitely should be a punishment for retreating, when the enemy is on top of you. Warband did this well and gave you no quater for retreating mid battle
6. Resolved [1.0.10] Enemy lord engaging player in an infinite loop after making peace

I was attacked by about 8 different Aserai lords when besieging a castle. I negotiated a peace treaty with the first lord who attacked me. The first lord left me alone, but there was another lord who was engaging me right before the first lord did. After negotiating the peace the second closest...
7. Resolved [1.0.10] Siege menu disappears after persuading a lord to join your faction

I was besieging Jalmarys and an imperial army attacked me. I persuaded the lord who lead the army to join my faction and the siege menu disappeared. I can't leave the siege or attack the town. My game is stuck.
8. Need More Info [1.0.9] Ation can't be executed

I wen't on a rampage executing every single empire lord I can get my hands on. In my last battle I captured about 8 lords and started executing them. I could kill every single one, except Ation. Every time I attempt to execute him the game crashes. Ation is clearly favoured by gods.
9. [Suggestion] Prisoner management improvement

Hello Forum When recruiting prisoners in the lategame, I have trouble finding the most experienced prisoners from the 60+ prisoners I get after a battle. My suggestion is sorting the prisoners from most experienced to the least experienced in the prisoner menu. It would make it a lot easier for...
10. Main questline restricts gameplay and is plain boring.

I personally don't actively try to pursue the main questline. I play the game how I normally would and when I run into a lord with a blue question mark I talked to him. It felt more free that way, like I accidentally stumbled upon a piece of lore. I find it really cool that they created a story where you get many perspectives on the main battle, even if the quest is busy work.
11. Need More Info [e1.0.3] Harpoon animation bug

Player character equips harpoon like a sword and sheats it like a sword.
12. Resolved [e1.0.1] Problem with diplomacy

I joined the Sturgians as a mercenary and accidentally walked into a Batannian ambush. I negotiated my freedom for 19k and one of the enemy demands was, that I swear not to attack them for 10 days. This was totally fine, except I'm not allowed to defend myself, if they attack me. My only option...
13. [DISCUSSION] Fan Suggestion Thread

Another suggestion while I'm at it. In my opinion Pendorian archers should have two sets of barbed arrows instead of one. Is this on purpose so that they are less op garrison units?

I'd say it's reasonable but problem lies in low armet armor rating despite its advanced looks. For mentioned infantry I'd say Cap&Chain Helm fits them better (closer to 45 armor, PMA use it). Pendor Cavalry use open armet and it doesn't look so advanced so it's fine. Didn't know it was for cavalry always had an impression (visually) that it should go with full plate set or some other expensive armor set.

On the other hand Armet looks shiny so if you want to clearly spot lowly Swordsmen and Spearmen for some reason then you can just remove open version and enjoy cool helmets with cheaper mail. I actually was using it buffed with heaviest mail brigandine (mix of mail and plate) for my CKO sergeants - they looked very competent and nice, more like real men at arms though, not like level 20 pendor infantry.

It is true that the visorless sallet has a low base armor level. I actually gave the visorless sallet a slight buff in my own game (changed the armor level from 42 to 45) and it fixed that problem for me. Of course it buffs the Pendor Heavy Bowmen slightly, but I think that is alright, because Pendorian archers are pretty bad units eather way.
15. [DISCUSSION] Fan Suggestion Thread

I love Prophesy of Pendor and imo it's one of the best mods of all time in Mount & Blade. There was one thing that irritated me more then it should when I was playing as the Kindom of Pendor. I'm talking about the choice of helmets for Pendor Swordmen and Pendor Spearmen. They use open and closed armet as head protection and in my opinion this helmet is not fitting at all for few reasons:

Armet is a helmet that was exclusively restricted for men at arms only in the 15th century , therefore it's a cavalry helmet and is not meant for your regular infantry men

It looks very silly and sticks out like a sore thumb. Maybe it is just me, but I couldn't bare to look at mid level infantry wearing cavalry helmets.
I used Morgh's editor to change their helmet to visorless sallet, because it looks better and makes sense. So my suggestion is that Pendor Swordmen and Spearmen should use the visorless sallet, instead of the armet and this is why:

Pendor Men-at-Arms use a sallet with face protection, so it makes sense that lighter infantry would use a cheaper variation of the same helmet and receive face protection when upgraded.

Visorless sallet was largely used by lighter infantry, especially archers that need vision to operate in the battlefield (that is why I love the fact that Pendor Armored Bowmen use visorless sallets).

Visorless sallet looks so much better then the armet and made me enjoy my playtrough much more.
First time posting on taleworlds forums, sorry if the formatting is bit weird. Any thoughts?
