I put the best scouts i can recruit in lead of my caravan (so they see and can avoid enemy hopefully), and i give them very light but good armor with a fast horse to keep their speed up.
Still after updates i rarely see them end up in a fight and they make me way to much money.

The computer don't seem to suffer from food issue in some citys.
Meanwhile i struggle with Charas & Lageta at 4527 & 3064.
Sure their citys got 3 village instead of 2 like my citys do, but still. I give them food all the time, doing all the quest and protecting the villagers.

I updated the thread since i see you used it for a good point.
I did continue that save for a while, and Sturgia sure did declare another war on Vlandia while i was trying to hold Battania off

I have seen troops gain experience in garrison. I think only when the settlement has a governor. It is a tiny very slow gain. But I have definitely come back to somewhere I haven't been in a long time and had troops that I could upgrade. The AI didn't upgrade them itself but they had gained xp and allowed me to upgrade them. Without a governor injured troops don't even heal themselves let alone gain xp.

Yes, i also need to take them out to my party, click on them, first then can i upgrade them as well before putting them back into garrison.
I had no governor in my city by that time.

There is 4 opponents, but the one you supposed to kill is not always in the city when you enter.
I had to load my saved game, ride away from the city before returning to see if he showed up in any of the 3 spawn location in city.
If he was NOT there, i ran away, waited to next day, and returned to see if he showed up.
And first THEN, i got my eyes on that bastard! So it can take some tries/days before he show up. Not sure if it's designed that way or another "bugg in game". Because when the 4th guy (that you supposed to kill) was there the other 3 opponents also was in city.

Agree, only reason Sturgia is still alive is because i been helping them from start. Vlandia is very strong and win every auto-solved battle against us.
To try auto-solve battle against Battania is even worse.

Ouch, will find out in a few days i guess. I just sniped my first big city today with my 140 troops against the 100 guarding it. Then i lost it when they came with 2k + soldiers, i killed around 100 before an arrow found my head, but should had lost it anyway. So now its back to try snipe it back or keep serving another kingdom for a while again ^^

Are you guys using bow and arrow? Seems like a lot of people do that, i mainly use a 2 hand + crossbow.

Hm, maybe i havn't reached that point when this game become that easy. Do you play with everything on hardest difficult and Realistic mode On?
And NOT export/import a character. And make sure to not use the exploit in the game for the castle and fights on ground.
Don't put all archer close the edge of a map or let them fire up at the castle to they runt out of arrow - retreat - and attack again etc etc.

I mess up a lot of times when playing like this, and i find it hard to believe that someone should faceroll this mod that easy with everything on hardest and playing realistic with a new character?

Indeed, one javelin is enough to bring more then half of my life down and sometimes one hit me ;p and that's against my level 36 char

Someone almost threw a spear up my ass 


And the battle before that i took a spear into my knee and left hand. Atleast i catched one with the shield

Amazing! Just bought M&B another time for 20$ on steam (lost my old CD from when i was younger), and would easily pay another 20$ for this mod! It's so amazing guys, bringing the game to another level! Keep up the good job!
