Hey everyone. I've was in the mood to play a little Bannerlord multiplayer, but I've been having a bit of an issue. As you can tell from the title I can't see any games, so I'm not sure if this is unique or I just missed an announcement, patch, update, etc. that would cause such an issue. Here are the details. When I'm on the home screen I can see the choose game button but it doesn't highlight when I hover over it nor does it let me choose a game type when I click on it. It simply does nothing. When I go to the play tab I can only access custom game and custom server tabs. Clan match and quick play are greyed out and tell me I have to be the leader of a party. I'm playing solo though. And the custom server list is empty and when I search for team deathmatches in custom it isn't able to find any game. So those are the deets.

I have already reinstalled, deleted my steam files for Bannerlord, and shouldn't be a version issue because multiplayer only works on the most recent stable build, so 1.5.1 should be fine, despite that I've tried changing versions under the impression that maybe I missed a memo? So I'm at a loss. Does anyone have a clue as to what's going on?

Edit: I have fixed the issue. It was very perplexing, I got the idea in my head when attempted to find a team in the Custom Game Tab in Play that the Battleeye anti-cheat wasn't working since it told me so with an error message that it wasn't able to join games because there was no anti-cheat. Let me highlight the fact that it only told me this crucial info after attempting to search auto find a Team Deathmatch game. All other options to join a game or server where either greyed out or in the case of the server list was unpopulated. Would have been nice if the game told me this with big bright neon letters upon getting to the main screen or something. Anyways I tried running Bannerlord_BE.exe in E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client because clearly Battleeye wasn't starting when I launched the game through steam, all to no avail. I then went into the BattlEye Folder and tried the Install_BattlEye file and the BEService_x64 application in an attempt to force launch Battleye then retried Bannerlord_BE.exe, still nothing. I then verified my game files through steam and relaunched the game through steam, got a nice little popup alongside the launching explaining the reason for BattleEye anti-cheat, et voila everything was back to normal.

The TLDR if you're having the same issue

Your BattlEye anti-cheat is running when you launch the game, Verify your game cache through steam or reinstall BattlEye. One of the two worked for me.

Go to this site and create your banner. Then copy the code. When you start a new game and are able to pick your banner press paste to load in your custom banner or alternatively you can press "B" at any time on the campaign map to bring up the banner editor screen.

If you're not feeling very creative you can always copy the code for someone else banner and edit it on the banner editor site or just copy and paste it into your game.

I spend too much time in the Banner Editor. Here are a few of my favorites that I have made for my campaigns. Feel free to use them or even better use them to inspire you to make your own design. Happy designing!

Oh... Thanks, I didn't see that. To think all I had to do was maintain a high enough moral to earn enough XP to unlock that, but I'm too busy feeding my soldiers slop and mudpies.

How do you unlock a workshop? I've been playing for hours now and I haven't seen an option in any of the towns. Is it locked by clan renown level, because I have yet to hit level 2, but I'm already sitting on 25k and I need to invest it?

Just a precise release date would be nice. But I'll wait if needed. I've waited for 8 years, so what's another week?

I only way I could see Bannerlord releasing in Early march is if they announced it now. But as it stands Callum has told us they will announce the release date "before the end of February", which to me just says the release date will be late March. It makes me sad because I need Bannerlord in my life sooner rather than later.

Nope, they said they were not going to add multiplayer sieges into the beta, but into the early access instead. I know but I was disappointed to find out as well.

And what have you seen? Because what I've seen has given the entirely opposite opinion. By a pure game mechanic perspective, being able to marry a ruler would break the entire progression of the game and completely unbalance it. You could be the Queen of Vlandia and marry the King of Sturgia and suddenly own 1/4th of the map. Or skip the entire midgame and be a peasant who is the Emperor just because you managed to seduce the King of the Empire. I'm not saying it's impossible or a bad idea, but the entire thing would require a lot of checks and balancing to make sure it isn't overpowered. Besides, the only way the developers have stated so far that a new King can be crowned is either through clan succession or vassal rebelion and since marriage hasn't been touched on I think it's safer to assume you can only marry lesser lords and ladies or unlanded suiters.

Currently, we have no idea. Taleworlds has not blessed us with that information yet. However, if Warband is anything to go off from then you won't be able to marry rulers. We will just have to wait and see.
