  1. Bandits need some love

Bandits have existed since the original mount and blade but to these days they still are totally shallow, we just see them as mobs to kill and... that's it. To be fair they have the potential to be much more... interesting and in this post I would like to suggest how I think they should work...
  2. Divorce?

Personally this is why I defend the idea of concubines at the very least, albeit divorce would be a fine one it should have heavy effects on your relationship with said clan.
  3. Cultivation, lack thereof.

Assassinations won't be in the game, I asked Duh about it half a year ago.

The points you mentioned are the part of the "Too complex" problem. Developers are so afraid of adding a bit of complexity in the game, so it looks too shallow right now.
It's kind of funny but mods tend to be able to solve that "too complex" problem, I remember a mod that did let me send assassins to kill nobles and a lot more intrigue.

To be fair I trust more in the mods compared to the developers about game mechanics and interesting stuff.
  4. Cultivation, lack thereof.

To be fair I feel that on some points the game not only it didn't improve but it even became worse. Mainly player and NPC interactions. I have to say that I hate the current clan system cause it's ****. It killed all the individuality that the game had, let me give a few examples:

-In warband you could court a girl, another noble could court her too and you could even fight a duel for her, while it wasn't overly impressive at least it was better than bartering the wife.

-In warband you could have a good relationship with the brother while being hated by the father, it did let me have more complex relationships than just being liked/hated by the whole clan.

-I don't hate house renown, but for the love of god, why did they take down the individual renown? I want people to hear of my character's name, to know him, not just his clan!.

In the end this has been said quite a bit but what most of us hope is just that this game drinks a bit from crusader kings so that it gives a better experience, that game is actually quite funny cause of how messy it can be on relationships and events, assassinations, usurpations, marrying and discovering your wife is your half sister, stealing your brother's wife... The problem that mount and blade always had is that you don't have dynamic interactions with the world, it's all static, stuff doesn't just happen, events don't develop.

How great would the game be if companions had some importance over using them for missions? you remember that outlaw companion you got? well he became an outlaw after becoming an enemy of x noble and he is sending manhunters for him, you could betray him and earn relationship with that noble or help your friend in need, perhaps the conflict could be solved in some way? if the mount and blade world was more alive and I could get choices and battles cause of seemingly relunctant choices it would be great.

Let's be fair, I want to cuck a king, leave with his wife then gain his eternal hate while his daughter decides to hunt me down, seduce her too and laugh at the king's face. Basically have fun on many aspects, even if it wasn't perfect I can use a bit of imagination, but you know... messing up with people is always a pleasure.
  5. How disappointed are you in % about the current state of developement of Bannerlord?

70%, I feel that at the current stage it should have been much better already and even more I should be able to do some stuff that let's me rolplay you know... I mean, Brytenwalda (later on viking conquest) have some stuff that I totally expected to have in game you know... such as:

-Being able to make a fortified camp and upgrade it
-Being able to sell stuff at that camp (so that I can play more bandit like)
-Unique places to explore and ways to get a permanent bonus for my character (seriously, even warband had books and stuff like that, but at the very least I would like to be able to develop in some additional ways other than just farming skills)
-Additional relationship stuff (cheating and similar stuff)
-Unique items (man, I want some unique named items that are more powerful, having some kind of relics that are equipment would be lovely, even more with a bit of lore, for example the sword of Keladryn the betrayed, giving me some backstory on how he was betrayed then managed to kill all the traitors before finally dying and some stuff like that).

I mean... do I hate the game? nope, but I am disappointed that after such a long development (plus early access) I feel that on the mechanics in the game and stuff to discover Viking conquest feels like a much better game.

I did enjoy a lot warband, especially when it is modded, viking conquest felt like it added all the good stuff I had to mod in and in some aspects even make it better. Then came bannerlord and it makes me feel like they just didn't learn anything out of the mods out there.

You want my opinion on what a perfect bannerlord game should be? combo events from crusader kings into this game, give me more rolplay stuff for my mercenary/bandit/merchant lives, ability to marry a companion, peasant girl... let me have events with my wife and family, even more some complex situations like a clan about to divide, let me get individual renown and that people don't recognize my character based on his clan but on his deeds!. We all know what mount and blade needs, and that is life, rumours and events, war happens and territory changes from the hands on some to others, but feeling like you are living a life in a world that has interesting stuff happening has no price.

P.D: The most hateful part on the current early access are the bandit camps, like seriously? couldn't they just make a few unique camps for the bandits and to have a bigger battle than going in with 5-7 men then killing around 20 bandits?, I feel it's really bad how little development got the bandits.
  6. AI lords must execute each other

First of all I'm all for more executions including AI ones, of course depending on many factors, overall what we need is that there is some way to prevent clan exterminations without new blood.

So... here is what I would propose: Generate new parties that work as the player in the sense of starting unafiliated with any kingdom, develop slowly by doing missions in zones and achieving objectives then finally be able to serve a king, increased chances of it happening in zones that multiple clans have been exterminated..

Of course as others said we want a "balanced execution system" not unused or overused so it would need quite a bit of work to balance it. I think something like this would be fine:

    Chance to execute:

    -Lord is dishonourable (+5%)
    -Captured lord is dishonourable (+5%)
-Negative relationship with the captured lord clan (+10%)
-Very negative relationship with captured lord clan (+25%)
-The clan of the captured lord did execute a member of his clan (+15%)
-He raided a village of the lord (+10%)
    -Lord is honourable (-5%)
    -Captured lord is honourable (-5%)
-Positive relationship with captured lord (-10%)
-Very positive relationship with captured lord (-25%)

I feel like the relationship, the characteristics and past actions should be what determines if they prefer the ransom or to simply execute the lord. It's nice to get a ransom but if the enemy is hateful for you then you may as well just kill him to save you future problems.
  7. About individual relationships and events

Hello, overall I have to say that I like quite a bit bannerlord but while in some parts it has advanced a lot from warband on others I feel it is even a step behind and with this I mean on relationships and events, let me explain: -In warband relationships were on an individual level, meaning...
