  1. [The Armory] Post your smithing creations!

Blacksmithing your companions increase their ability or yours, i wonder?
    Theirs
  2. [Guide] Optimising single-player performance - Stuttering? Got 8gb RAM? This might help

Any post-processing of frames is expensive and will have huge impacts on low(er)-end systems. Anti-aliasing specifically has a huge cost and almost no impact. Motion blur is made worse by low framerates and in general is a detriment to you as a player. Our eyes don't really work that way, when you turn your head you already have an idea of where you want your eyes to end up, there is a lot less motion blur in real life than any implementation in a game I've seen to-date

    Turn both off
  3. Dont just ride your horse early with the bow.

Once you hit around 25/30 Athletics, you don't really need more than that. You can easily obtain that with a 4 END--which you'll have anyway for the Riding Skill--and maybe one or two Focus Points by just taking off your horse and running around the World Map for about thirty minutes. Any points you get in Athletics after 30 is just gravy, frankly--unless there's a certain Perk you want.
You also get plenty of athletics in lower levels just from running around bandit camps
  4. [The Armory] Post your smithing creations!

Higher level materials give you more xp too. Save the weapons that give steel to be smelted by your main character
  5. This game is literally unplayable!!!

"gaming laptop" is a phrase that I wish didn't exist
"decent gaming laptop" is a phrase that doesn't exist
  6. Dont just ride your horse early with the bow.

I only shoot people after my army shatters their formation and they're running away. I go sword and board on my mount due to the cool factor
  7. Why is every single NPC ugly as sin....and white?

+1 npc's are ugly af. Please put on priority list directly after fixing all the game-crashing bugs!
  8. XP learning multiplier should stop at 0.1 but never zero.

The learning multiplier should never go below 0.5, ideally would be 1 at the lowest. I understand the concept with the way it's done now, like your character has a maximum "potential" they can reach, without adding focus or adding stats. But no matter how much or little natural talent or affinity a person has with something, as long as they keep practicing a skill they will get better

The system needs balance, I've already seen a mod that gives you a stat point every level up rather than every 3.

    Quick math:
60 total stats * 3 levels = Level 180 to have max(10?? idk) stats if started from all 0's
15 * 6 focus points = Level 90 to have max focus in all skills

    Here is my suggestion:
Provide alternate ways to level up other than just pure skilling
Balance stat gain and focus gain so you can end up with a max character at max level
Character creation sets your character to X level depending on stats + focus so that you can end up at level X with max stats and focus

You never want to take away from players in game design, only give to them
  9. Please address the prisoner issue!

I believe you are correct. I just wish I had some kind of say in the whole thing.
I agree. I think if you are a vassal then only you or your king/queen should be able to ransom your captive lords and if you are the ruler then you can ransom your captured lords and those of your vassals/companion parties. There could even be a new quest that vassals would have where they request you release a certain lord
  10. Definite Change Needed to The Bandit Camp Ambush Quests

You can kill a few bandits in the camp and leave the map, but they often just get injured rather than dying then they recover before you can attack again
  11. Please address the prisoner issue!

I think lords are automatically ransomed as well. Sometimes I'm running around and I'll hear the sound of coins and see that I just got ~3k denars and there's a log message that says Barter Offer Accepted
  12. Train 10 Borrowed Troops unbalanced and fail bug

I agree with all of the above. I took on this quest to try it out, but they get wounded and take forever to recover. Somehow managed to finish leveling up all 10 on the very last day by auto-resolving looter parties. My counter stopped at 6/10 but I eventually upgraded all 10

It just needs balance and maybe a bug-fix in the counter:
    • Balance borrowed troop recovery speed, or
    • lower xp required to upgrade them

Regarding looters, I think if you or ai parties are slaughtering them by the hundreds there will be less. Once you stop killing them you'll notice there will be more and larger parties. I saw a 71 looter party last night now that I've moved on to fighting factions and besieging their settlements
