  1. Filling In the Gaps: a timeline of Calradia from 1000BE to 1257AE

Been creating this sort of timeline myself but it's been a while so I forgot bunch of stuff. Nevertheless it's glorious to find domeone likeminded who had the same idea. I just get sucked into fictional histories. Few months ago when I was collecting all info for BL lore from gamefiles into word file I looked for something like this to check if I missed something. To be honest, don't take it as too harsh criticism but while I like much of your solutions IMHO you have made up too much names and stuff uneccesarily and made it too much like it's 1:1 with real life history instead of mashing elements making it more interesting (my approach for headcanoning, in comparison, was minimalistic, just assembling what is there, conjecture and connecting events without inventing outright). If you read clan, settlement and similar descriptions there are plenty of name dropped personalities you could have expanded upon instead of inventing your own (but then your timeline would've been near perfect and there would be nothing for me to do eh XD).

And some things you wrote here outright contradict what little there is from the lore. For example the timeline. From reading devblogs and listening to intro of Bannerlord timespan is a lot shorter. What little happened in what you call BE is contained to the east and south. I'm pretty sure time is measured from the supposed year of Calradios' landing (regardless if he is myth or noth) so that ought to be year one while the Empire existed judging by the intro for some 500 years or so (can't remember exactly but several hundreds years I think it said). In any case it's been a while so I forgot bunch of stuff since I'm more on Lotr now but once I'm back into Bannerlord lore, gonna send the compendium I collected the moment I noticed there were more descriptions and backstory to the world (such an awesome edition) or post the timeline here at some point. Got a knack for rumagging through obscure sources, it's my rl job and maybe it could help out.
  2. Ehh refunded it.

They shouldn't have released it in this state. The EA argument is embarrassing.
Here's a list of games that had amazing early access runs/launched in EA in a way less embarrassing state than this.

    Superhot
    Hades
    Risk of Rain 2
    Divinity: Original Sin 1&2
    Blackwake
    AudioSurf 2
    Darkest Dungeon
    Dead Cells (ish)
    PUBG
    Slay the Spire

And out of all of those, only two of those games were more than $40, and none of them took 8 years to develop.

I get it, you're fans of the game. I'm a fan too - I really can't wait for this game to in a good place - but the reality is that they should have just pulled a Last Oasis. What's going on is literally nothing shy of a short-sighted cash grab.
I can't say about those but the only games I played since 1.0 are Kingdom Come Deliverance and Elder Scrolls online and both were full priced and tagged as supposedly full version not EA, and I have to say Bannerlord release in comparison was better and above my expectations. KCD on day 1, heck on week 1 or even during the entire first month was outright unplayable and broken. ESO core gameplay system was outright wrong. I only finished KCD a year later while I never bothered with ESO after couple of days (heard it is better now). With this experience I thought Bannerlord would be the same. I intended to download it the first day just to check it out ,see the map and walk around a bit and actually play for longer period once more updates come out but instead I played it non stop for entire first week.
  3. SP Medieval Fantasy (Game of Thrones) A World of Ice and Fire (v8.1 released 7/3/22)

Since I see many people have trouble with grass is it possible to replace it with vanilla like non animated grass?. Grass, trees and ground textures are biggest eyesore both in Viking Conquest and in all mods based on it, including AWOIAF. I never had problem with simpler vanilla Warband textures in the way I have them with VC. Trees rotating around with their branches and trunks swaying in "wind" look ridiculous and always take me out of the moment, especially pines. Ground has this unnatural bright green color. Grass wouldn't be so bad if it didn't pop around in square sections. instead of like it is in vanilla WB. Lighting is also somewhat drab though by far easiest thing to modify (just copy pasted postfx file from other mods). As far as I understand these problems are all related to the mod being based on VC.

I actually prefer simpler yet more beautiful textures, lighting and shaders of warband mods that were done circa 2012/13. I'm just replaying old Clash of Kings version 1.1 with hotifix and it is incredible how good that mod looks compared to both current ACOK and AWOIAF. Also lighting and scenes (both cities and villages, westeros and essos) in that mod are way superior to whatever Cozur made since then (why he scrapped them in 1.11 I will never understand) and as far as Essos goes even to AWOIAF. Anyone interested in ACOK should check out that version of the mod even though it is unfinished and compare it to the later ones. (It's like 2 different persons made them).

For 3 days I've been breaking my head over how to import flora and vegetation from either ACOK 1.1 or at least Blood eagle into AWOIAF. I managed to get trees working with ocassional white trunk here and there, however it is neigh impossible for grass. I guess it's probably something to do with shaders. This is my first experience with tweaking warband or other person's mod and I'm not intending to publish it or anything but some input from generally always cooperative Produno would be nice. For starters is what I'm attempting even possible?
  4. SP Fantasy (Game of Thrones) A Clash of Kings (7.0 released 13th of May, 2019)

Do you mean the Version 1.1.1 or the 1.1 with hotfix? I have not tried them only came back here to see how the Version 3.0 is what i am going to download right now... but will try the other version too.
    1.1 with hotfix
  5. Map of Calradia 1084 (January 2021)

YOu are right. I think Seonon is Senuzgda. Suno was supposed to be Sunor near Pravend, currently only mentioned by Vlandian tavern maids for sausages.
  6. Map of Calradia 1084 (January 2021)

I think Seonon probably evolved into Senuzgda rather than Suno, judging by it's location. Also Vlandian npcs in Pravend mention Sunor sausage or something so I presume Sunor was supposed to be nearby at some point in development. Shame they didn't include the city. In my ck2 playthrough of Legend of Zendar which I then further modified, Suno was the first capital of Calradia, then Praven (Baravenos) when I became a merchant republic and then when I further expanded I moved yet again but Suno is where it all began. Sad not to see it in the end. Aesthetics of placeholder late antiquity imperial cities currently present in the game would have suited it.
  7. SP Fantasy (Game of Thrones) A Clash of Kings (7.0 released 13th of May, 2019)

With the pre 1.11 models of Winterfell,Highgarden,Storm's End, Riverrun etc. it would be rated not just 10/10,but Idk like Thormund Giantbane's member level of epicness mod. This way it's only 9.5/10 for 1.2. I got over the replacement of towns eventually and am enjoying the new quests. We are eternally gratefull to you Cozur, but why were you so rude at Taleworlds forums when anyone asked you why you changed the towns? You never explicitly stated why you did it,so it is natural for people to at least ask. It's your mod and if you wanted change it's fine. You answered very rudely to every single question about it with words such as "bugger off","look at the FAQ number 35" or deleted comments. I know that you don't have to answer, but you don't have to be rude, imagine if George R.R MArtin answered to people like that. You're good at modding but outside of that you're just a human like all of us.
  8. SP Fantasy (Game of Thrones) A Clash of Kings (7.0 released 13th of May, 2019)

There is a nice saying. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Why, oh why have you changed how Storm's End and Winterfell look? Changing Winterfell to this underwhelming form it has now is a shame. It is obvious a lot of effort has been put into the old version to be similar to the TV version. It felt so alive with all the people, there was archery range ,the wooden balcony and you could see weirwood tree across the walls. And now it is a desert. I know they are not towns or cities but castles and forts in lore but you should learn to differentiate between lore and in game mechanics. For example in many games in lore metropolis or town is size of a village. Storm's end and especially Winterfell felt more alive and real in the old version. They felt like capitals. And when you checked their population it wasn't huge, only about 3000 so there you go,you stayed true to the lore. I truly hope you will at least revert Winterfell back to old version. (PS I'm sorry i'm so boring to repeat my post from moddb, but i really care, I know it's Cozur's mod,and he can do what he likes with it but still)
