There is a point to it, you are supposed to get companions and also the perma death mechanic makes it work a lot better. As when your character dies you play whoever inherits.

In real life archers made up about 3/4ths of medieval armies, the large majority were archers simply because it was the most effective way to do things.

Most people with swords and armor were nobles.

Why tf do people give a **** about graphics? I mean to a point I do but once its decent its whatever, it literally does not affect enjoyment of the game at all.

The graphics are not that bad and they are better then warbands which honestly if they were the same as warbans I would be ok with it if the gameplay was improved upon.

I am assuming you never actually played warband and are on the hype train from mordhau having never played an actual mount and blade game.

Friendly fire is on quick match its also how you level your profile.

I wasnt having any hitbox issues, so not sure why you are, but I was occasionally having lag issues.

So far I have thought the multiplayer was pretty solid while I have ran into a few bugs in singleplayer, nothing too big in multiplayer and I had very fluid combat, maybe you just suck.

Singleplayer however I did have one gamebreaking bug however it is early access so cant be too mad yet, as long as they keep releasing fixes/new content.
