    Interview with Armağan Yavuz ! ( @Gamescom2019 )

    Count Delinard 说:
Great interview, you chose good questions Mike, thanks

Thank you! I tried my best to gather all the questions from Reddit, find common topics, summarize them and formulate them in such a way that Armagan could answer many things at once. I always asked 2 things together basically, such as the dinasty system and if we could kill any character in-game through assassination or some other mechanic (which is a 3rd question now that I think about it ahaha).

A really good and insightful interview, def subbed to that guy.  :iamamoron:

Appreciate that! Gonna try to keep up with all the requests and also improve on my quality since I am quite inexperienced both in playing Bannerlord (I didn't play Warband that much) and editing (these were my first big projects and edits)!

Do we know if settlement culture will change over time if conquered? Would be nice if there was some conversion over time given that we are playing for multiple generations.

I can confirm what Piconi has said. The culture and locals won't change, but the garrison and lords will! Interesting fact: the garrison will be made out of the troop types you have in the stationed army and not just randomly.

@MikeSavage I certainly felt alluded to.

First of all, I would like to welcome you here and to thank you for your commitment to provide the Community with suggestive information; that is worth mentioning and I applaud you for it. You have every right to "monetize" that information, fragmenting it into episodes that will lead to their work when it comes to editing the videos. I personally have been looking forward to your information ever since I read your comment on Reddit. However, what I expected was a "raw" video of those 30 minutes (period of game that you had) which the Community had already been responsible for crumbling and analyzing. The interview, I certainly think the same thing... a " soft " edition and straight to youtube.

Anyway, thank you for the dedication you're showing despite what I may think about how you offer the information.

Thank you for the kind words, Terco!

Don't think just about the content creation part, but also about the practical side: bundling up and processing all the information and proposing it in such a way that people can enjoy it in a structured way helps the community much more than fragmented analyzing here in the forum, with resulting conclusions and opinions dispersed across all the topics and threads.
That was one of the main reasons I didn't even think about releasing the raw footage. It may benefit a few curious and active members, but not all the players.  :!:

Also, putting together the info and releasing it on YouTube or other platforms would have been done by somebody else after some time and let's say I really prefer to release the processed information myself, since I sacrificed a lot of time, money and energy on this whole information gathering and stuff like the Google Doc with all the skills & perks, which btw is to be HERE in case you didn't check it out!

To meet the expectations of the community and avoid misinterpretations and mistakes in my videos I am also starting to work together with some veteran members and ask them questions about things before posting them. So instead of having myself say "I really don't know much about this mechanic boys", I can offer a detailed explanation based on the veteran knowledge that I am missing.

The interview is being edited btw, I am realizing that some things were already answered in the last 2 weeks, but some info is still worth sharing!

    ?Gamescom 2019 (20-24 August)

Hello everybody and what an honor to see my videos posted in the TaleWorlds forums too!

    Piconi 说:
New video from Gamescom 2019 about Policies, renown, influence and clan tiers from MikeSavage who was digging deeper into singleplayer than anyone !

New topic about those features as seen in the video : Policies + New Singleplayer Details ( video )

The fact that I join the conversation and start writing on the forums only now shows how inexperienced I am with the whole community behind Mount & Blade.  :???:

As to the content I am creating, my intention is to act as a link between sources of information such as TaleWorlds, this forum (and whatever can provide me that) and the community I am really enjoying being a part of!

I am afraid I won't satisfy all the highly-informed veterans here because, well...they already have a huge knowledge pool, probably read all of the dev blogs and know many mechanics in and out, but I will try my best! I will do my homework, read all of the Dev Blogs and keep myself informed through other sources, even though I discovered M&B just 2 years ago.

As the curious and knowledge-hungry person I am myself, the best and most important thing is making people happy with information about the game and to open up an interesting conversation about the mechanics, gameplay and so on in the comments, in the forum and on other platforms.

That said, to all of you, thank you for this warm welcome in the forum and have a nice day!

will there be clan information? or new troops trees?

I am currently editing the interview with Armagan: lots of transitions to cut, text on screen to write and so on.  :???:
At one point, I will go over the Gamescom footage since I clicked my way through the game encyclopedia and got some (but not all) troop trees. Also clicked on every faction and on some faction rulers, so you will know their names and personal story at least!

Policies + New Singleplayer Details ( video )

Hello everybody, what an honor to see my video posted in the forums too!

Guess I already have a number 1 fan here!
    Piconi 说:
When i saw his first videos, and his comments how he had all the data from encyclopedia, rulers and such, and saw he spent his gameplay only looking at stuff of importance to us, i said to myself :
"I am going to build this man's career"

    Altruism is my fetish ?

I am so inexperienced and new to the community that I discovered this wonderful place only now, although I heard about its existence quite some time ago.
As to the content I am creating, my intention is to act as a link between sources of information such as TaleWorlds, this forum (and whatever can provide me that) and the huge community behind Mount&Blade, which btw are games I discovered just 2 years ago!
I am afraid I won't satisfy all the highly-informed veterans here because, well...they already have a huge knowledge pool, probably read all of the dev blogs and know many mechanics in and out, but I will try my best! I will do my homework, read all of the Dev Blogs and keep myself informed through other sources.

Still, I think that if 9/10 people are enjoying my content and the information is new to them, then it means that all of the information I am releasing somehow didn't reach them before.
So I will keep on trying to satisfy all the involved groups as much as possible and act as a channel between the sources and players as I wrote before, but this doesn't come without my personal touch, jokes, interpretations and theories.
It's impossible to expect the contrary, because my videos would turn into a scientific protocol of the obtained data.

Regarding the monetization aspect...well...I hope you are happy to know that it's not my main concern. Let's say it's just a bonus that would help compensate the time and energy effort that comes with such an activity. As the curious and knowledge-hungry person I am myself, the best and most important thing is making people happy with information about the game and to open up an interesting conversation about the mechanics, gameplay and so on in the comments, in the forum and on other platforms.

That said, to all of you, thank you for this warm welcome and have a nice day!
