Hi I installed anno domini 1257 manually and I went on it n my battle size was default 150, tried changing it with battle size changer and it stayed the same until I edited the config. So I went to play diplomacy (steam workshop) n my save games were gone and my battle size was reset to 150 as...
Sarcasm much. Hah; nah, but seriously, I'd love to see some more items implemented into MP from SP, or just some more body armor/head armor to be honest. Maybe some very expensive plate greaves like in Brytenwalda.
I appreciate all of the corrections and stuff, but please guys; I said 'MP' meaning Multiplayer, the items in SP seem fine to me, but in MP, theres **** all for most factions.
That doesn't make it impossible to throw a normal axe at someone does it? I am able to throw my hand-axe in my shed at the wall, maybe not well at all, most of the time the blade doesn't even hit the ground, yet still, I think that adding an option which allows people to throw their axes (perhaps as a move before dying after being swarmed by enemies) wouldn't be a bad idea.
I don't actually give a crap about two-handed axes you see. I added that in seeing as most, and I say most, of the community want it. What I want are some more chest armor and head armor, such as leather helmets (a freaking huge amount of them in Brytenwalda) as well as some more types of chest armor (linen tunics etc).
I struggle to believe that there was not a single two-handed axe used by any of those factions. Like many have said before on these forums, it is not particularly difficult to get a long piece of wood and add in a sharpened piece of metal on the end of it. Does it really matter if there is barely any evidence to support it? But hey, I don't really give a crap about the axes. What I really want though are more armor types at the very least.
I just honestly struggle to understand why they didn't try to copy some items from Brytenwalda and polish them up a bit (make them suit the updated models etc) and then just add them in (the ones which are historically correct that is). Atleast give the saxons some scale armor.
Well, there are linen tunics, leather tunics and so on in Brytenwalda, wouldn't be surprised if there weren't the exact same items, but this is taking the piss a bit. Not even a single leather helmet, I mean come on.
I just think that there is a severe lack of items within the multi-player.
For example, there are no:
Leather helmets
Leather armor
Scale armor
Only one type of bow
No two-handed axes
A severe lack of chest-items for some factions
I have no idea if you're going to add in more items to this...
Can anyone tell me wich are the pagan kingdoms in England and Ireland? I thought Alt Clut was pagan but it turns out to be christian... I would like to know wich ones have my religion so I can know wich way to expand my enterprises.
In 867 AD all the inhabitants of the British Isles were Christians. The Christianization of Alt Clut began after a mission by Gaelic monks from Ireland in 563. In the game, only the peoples from Norþvegr and Danmark and some lords of the Norse-dominated territories were pagans (Laithlind, Norþhymbra, Friese).
