I know it is suppose to be called ui_gadgets.dds i have change the reticle before on NW but i can't find that texture in the folder

Your screenshot is from the Textures folder of Viking Conquest, right? The ui_gadgets file is in the general Textures folder (...\MountBlade Warband\Textures), not in the mod-specific ones.
