    The Advice Thread.

I contacted a representative from the Holy Army, and the official reason for any undue hostility is that "the Holy Army is on a witchhunt, and any accusations levied against any man, be he lord or peasant, of witchery, will be responded to with fire and sword."

    Upset any clergymen, lately?

    Best Nation/Army?

I think I remembered setting up a small rock-paper-scissors thing for myself...

But the best nation is always my nation, because I mix together every culture.

Swadia for the shock cavalry, Nords for the shock infantry, Vaegirs for the light archers, Khergits for the skirmishers, Sarranids for their light infantry, and the Rhodoks for their pikemen and heavy archers. (Crossbowmen, whatever.)

    Boring end game...?

It's always fun to solo caravans and armies with a dress and a cleaver.

    Bug Reports: 1.251

Not sure if this has been reported yet, but I believe the new update for Warband messed with the hand armor in shops. After shops "refresh" their inventory, or whatever they do, they no longer sell gauntlets, mittens, gloves, or any hand armor of any type. I also noticed in combat that some of my enemies weren't wearing gauntlets either. Just giving a heads up, since it's a non-issue for me. I usually have Milanese Gauntlets by my second day on Mommy. But, it does become a pain if you're trying to equip companions.

Imo, it's just tons of fun to make an army out of only calvary. (Good calvary)

The battles are fast and brutal, with the notable exceptions of sieges.

I also like calvary 'cause I can get around the map a heck of a lot quicker.

Well, let me be the first to disagree.  While i do support the idea of a stamina bar, i don't like the idea of sprinting.  Just imagine of those dozen river pirates used that feature to surround you in a couple of seconds?

But the stamina bar should affect everything you do, whether it's running or attacking. Basically you could have it so that if you sprint somewhere, you're too tired to attack until the bar fills up some more. If you want to get more complex you could have it so that if you constantly swing your sword or fire your bow, the bar also drains until you rest. Maybe just have your swings go slower and do less damage over time.

If a dozen river pirates sprint to get to you and you wait, you'll be able to slaughter them with ease.

An implementation like that would seem a bit cliche, don't you think? It'd be just like ES: Oblivion, where you could only attack so much.

Native is a fairly heroic game, where you, the player, can manage to charge an enemy army with your knights, and not come out of it bleeding to death from crossbow bolt wounds (Crossbow bolts could pierce the heaviest plate armor).

Typo Thread: Post typo errors you find in SP game here

Whenever you do the "Train the villagers" quest, once you've trained them, it says a villager runs to the village, shouting "alarums". As far as I know, an alarum is a call to arms created by a trumpet. So, this statement must either be Shouting "alarms" or "sounding the alarum"

Just a minor detail, but one that's always bugged me.

Recruitment Call! - Recruitment is now closed - Thank You!

Hmm. Decided to register on Taleworlds forums just for this. Anyway, I love to write, and edit, and I have a bit of experience with the module writing system. (I went through my native module and changed text that didn't seem right to me, or just to make it more fun.)

I'd like to apply for a position as a writer.
