Problem is then who has the horn? do you maybe have one attatched to your hip? and also there would have to be a lot of different sequences for specific actions. Maybe going into a morse code like thing:
Hold this position= Short Note
Follow Me= Long note
Charge= Short note, Long Note,
And so on.

I'd heard of that. But i thought it was a bit unrealistic for this. Seeing as the tactics are basically. You go here and you go there or CHARGGGEEE!!!!! Basically. But either way, Flags, Horns, Shouts would be nice.

Also before people go on about the characters voice maybe there could be say 3 or 4 voices for each sex. Only for Battle that's all i'm suggesting. Or as Wolf suggested Horns or Flags. Hell i'll take fireworks, bells, whistles anything.
