If you turn the battlesizer down and gradually increase it as you get more experienced you fight a series of small battles rather than 1 big one. It takes longer bit is great for learning. the tactics skill means you bring more men to the field and every little advantage is something!

In brytenwalda there are no lances so cavalry is weakened, no armoured horses and cavalry are more expensive. The map is huge and parties are much larger. Great mod for a challenge but not as difficult as prophesy of pendor.

The oweing money shouldn't have anything to do with being a vassal though, just your renown. Being a vassal isn't necessarily as good as its made out to be though, your income is less stable (because your village is ablways getting raided) and there's a big penalty for leaving after becoming a vassal.

OT: shouldn't horsemen have javelins and only horse archer upwards get power draw and bows.. The horsemen's accuracy can be increased with proficiency and they're not exactly inaccurate as it is.

^vaegir marksmen make good defenders, because they seem to have better range than the nords. But the nords have better armour, 2h axes and are MUCH cheaper..

My computer is 5yrs old, has 1.5GB of ram and a 256mb graphics card and can handle 400 units in native (except sieges).
Btw, when are these price drops gonna happen? I just bought a modern pc and am looking for a high spec graphics card..

Great feature but is there any way to reduce the amount of blood? It crashes my pc and I hate to kill the feature entirely =(
