Not sure if anyone would be interested in this low poly stuff

I am for sure interested in a official or unofficial patch to increase performance, just as you, not everyone of us have strong computers
  2. Seven of Spades

    Do you guys raid villages?

Unless you are playing with only one or two faction troops, in which case all others are free game.

Who gives the bandit lair quests late in the early-game?

It stayed that way for many game-days ...

Ah, so by then they had simply not spawned yet.

Fire arrows do anything else that look cool when you shoot them?
  5. Seven of Spades

Who gives the bandit lair quests late in the early-game?

Maybe the camps are nearer to other city, like Suno or Yalen, in that case those lords should be able to give the quest to you. Just in case ask the barthenders in the taverns for jobs.

I am a rebel and a kingdom declared war on us?

It happens, more often than not when the Rebel faction is bigger than the original, and for the same reasons that it could happen to any other faction, because you're too big, because you have a castle or city that belonged to them, because they consider the swadian rebels an easy target, etc.

Even if you end Swadia now and win the rebellion, you will still be at war with those discount vikings, so beat the crap out of them and destroy their leadership, so they only field rabble.

    Good hunt.
  7. Seven of Spades

Invading force of 1.600 to 300 defenders

Do not waste your time raiding anything, if you can do it, then it is just better to break their leadership defeating (and hopefully capturing) your enemy's Marshal.

With the extra time that will give you also try and stock a couple hundred more soldiers in your city, it does not matter very much if they are mostly low tier if the high quality is at first line, that should help you with both autoresolve and battle advantage.

I usually have like 100-150 elite units in a city and a some hundred tier 2 rabble. Nord footmen are a solid choice in the matter, Swadian militias also for their crappy crossbows, Vaegir footmen are just garbage.

    HELP

    NaughtyRageQuit 说:
Soo i don't know what is the difference or what is the trait/upgrade i have to gain to make more money from them?

The diference is the quantity and quality of the active troops in the party (not counting injured), the more/better troops you have, more money you extort from those poor saps.

    I need some advice

How much money do you have? You can always throw money at your problem.

Go to any married lady of your Kingdom with wich you had at least 1 point of relations, it should not be that difficult to find one, and then bathe her in denars for gifts. With that you can raise relations with all your negative lords to 2 if you raise them to -1 and then pay 3000 denars more.

    giphy.gif

Only after splurging all that money throw feasts to raise their relations a little more, and if all that do not work or seems insufficient, send them to raid well defended villages and save their asses before they're wiped out.

They can love you but it will take a while.
  10. Seven of Spades

What do you guys do with followers?

In native (or better said in the Native+Diplomacy+PBOD mod that I play) I usually use the 10 stable group (Alayen, Ymira, Bashetur, Rolf, Nizar, Matheld, Katrin, Bunduk, Borcha, Artimener) or the 8 evil one that does not have any problem with killing and looting (Bashetur, Rolf, Nizar, Matheld, Lezalit, Artimener, Klethi, Deshavi).

I make one medic, one builder, one scout and one looter and turn the others in almost complete warriors, saving some points in intelligente to throw into training. I always give them one blunt weapon to make them money makers and tend to give them uniforms for they to be my fearless royal guard.

I usually make the same in other mods, the one time that alongside their usual blunt weapons I gave them bows to make them horse archers was in Gekokujo, but there are not shields so it was priceless!

Strategy to avoid getting attacked while raiding?

Defeat the enemy Marshal and break their leadership or at least attack when they are busy in other more important stuff like attacking/defending towns or castles.

Try at least to attack the villages who are far from the lord’s stacks.

I think looting skill also decreases the time you need to raid a Village.
  12. Seven of Spades

    Legal cheating with sieges

Yeah, climb up that ladder in Grunwalder... heh.

Better if you can make several lords to follow you and then telling all of them to siege Grunwalder in a short time. Then you have to make reinforcements unable to come and join. Roll over them with cavalry.
  13. Seven of Spades

Several Questions. Horses in inventory, recruitment...etc

You can also use the chest in Rivacheg as a storage.
  14. Seven of Spades

    Is there any mod that...

Gekokujo 2.9 or 3.0, I do not remember witch one but before the yaris were corrected, had lances used with two hands like hafted blades of vanilla who could also be couched... they were totally Op and I loved them back in the day.

Of course, Samurais are not what you are looking for.
  15. Seven of Spades

    Ex Kings as Vassals.

It happened to me just once with Harlaus after I helped Isolla to take her rightful crown, I remember trading a lot of fiefs just to return Praven to him. It never happened to me again.

There is something else you do with the original Kings?
  16. Seven of Spades

    Reason For Feasts?

You can use it for making some sort like a Red Weeding.

It works best with Diplomacy mod and any other mods that have implemented it or had implemented Patrols. Let’s just say that you are one step away from making your own Kingdom, you already have overpowered companions to make lords or to be your fearless royal guard, you already have the money and a full army by game standards inside your town or castle that is your home and soon to be Capital.

You have everyone inside there happily feasting until your king did not gave you that 8th castle or whatever for having too much controversy or having already too many fiefs, and you rebel instead of being a faithful fool. The feast will immediately be over, every lord of your old kingdom will be outside your city without a real leader if until a minute ago you were the Marshal, you will be a new King and you will be at war with the very same people who partied alongside you in your own table few seconds ago.

Then everything is ready, you tell your Constable to make a lot of really big patrols with most of the hundreds of troops inside your city, then you ride out with the elite contingent of your own and use the patrols to help you destroy the army of your old kingdom piece by piece in a quick succession of battles. At the end of the day your old kingdom is tattered and in disarray, you will probably capture some prisoners and for those who fell in battle but not into your hands, will then carry out armies of peasants and rabble, leaving their cities and castles ripe for the taking.

It is really fun, more in your mind if you roleplay it.

    I had done it twice.

Floris - Cant Locate Missing Companions after deserting army

For what I know it can be a bug with freelancer, did you fought before your desertion? The game usually take from you the extra troops, and you never see them again. I suggest you that next time you hire a companion when you are in a Lord's army you send him or her off inmediatly to a mission.

My arrows run out while fighting Sea Raiders

Have more than one bundle of arrows, maybe five or six, and change yojr empty arrows with them.
  19. Seven of Spades

    Giving Fiefs to Other Kingdoms?

I think it is not possible in Vanilla, unless you go to war with the ones who losed the fief and then you fail to defend it on purpose. That would be worst than a mess anyway.

It is on the other part completely posible with the Diplomacy mod and with the other lots of mods who had Diplomacy integrated to them.
  20. Seven of Spades

What is the best way to garrison newly conquered fiefs?

Some mods help you with that, Diplomacy is a good example as it let you to send recruiters to villages and hire patrols who in turn once they spawn you can command them to reinforce a garrison (yours or other's).

In Vanilla you have to do in the old way, keep your army in the city and then go in a travel village after village. You can train your peasant rabble faster with a group of companions where each had a fair level of trainer skill. Have it yourself if you can spare the points.

Is usually better to have a great number of tier 2-3 troops in the garrison than a fewer number of top units, as the AI take more the numbers than quality deciding what fief attack.
