  1. Finished My First Playthrough, Here's the Rundown After 140 Hours

You can see the limit built right into the Developer Console. There's a command to see who all is eligible for marriage. Characters 39 and under appear. Those 40 and above do not.

You can't even force marry your character to someone if they're over 40. Both characters need to be 39 or under, and then you can use the Developer Console to force a marriage.

Weird. I've seen screenshots of people using the console to de-age people from 36 to 34, which made them eligible for marriage. Possibly it was changed without mention in the patch notes?

Are you sure about the marriage age limit of 40? I've heard a lot of people say the cut off is 35. Or is that only for female characters and it's 40 for male characters?

I mean, I thought it was interesting, given that I've never seen it happen before with the Zann, and there are several other threads on this very board on other, relatively unimportant topics, but if you're that annoyed or offended about it, feel free to lock/delete the thread. I'd do it myself, but I can't.
Seeing a pile of garbage on a street isn't a good reason to help it grow.
Stickied threads cover the majority of possible topics ("The main thread" alone can be used for virtually any Perisno-related messages) and they should be used for such.
Only discussion threads (favorite faction, favorite unit, early game strategy tips, ctds etc.), submod / blog-like threads and similar topics that have a potential to grow big and have certain use for newcomers should exist separately.
And I'm trying to keep it that way.
Otherwise important threads get pushed to the 2nd/3rd/etc. pages and are buried under the pile of garbage threads.

    That's fair enough.

Thank you for keeping us informed.
It was such an important thing to say that it clearly warranted its own thread.
Maybe you should ask global moderators to let you create new sections on the forum next time you feel like sharing something.

I didn't even know they could do this, but Zann has currently exiled three of their original lords within a hundred days of their invasion. The end result is that there's three groups of spearheads just chilling out around the map, and the Zann effectively can't do anything, since they're missing the equivalent of eight lords. It's kind of funny, in a sad way.

So after finally getting level 10 in Riding, I check with Gereon for the special quest to give it to Kaiser Otto but he said he doesnt have any work for me.
Prior to this, he always gave me the quest whenever asked.
Then a while after he says he doesnt have any work for me. The option disappear altogether

Is there a feature that make Gereon act this way when player has lvl 10 Riding or a glitch?
For everyone's information, I reloaded every time I check with him for the special quest instead of refusing the quest.
I believe the quest to give the Wolf is triggered by having a high relationship with Gereon, not your riding skill. In fact, if you're his liege when the quest is triggered, I believe he just outright gives the wolf to you, rather than you having to pretend you lost it in the mail (while riding it) to him and the Kaiser.
  7. Endgame Infantry in your opinion

As other's have said, Valahir are the go to options for infantry. I find Knights of Steel to be quite excellent though, being decent marksmen and remarkably hard to kill. They excel at sieges, but even on an open field, they tend to do well, functioning as both archers and heavy infantry. They're essentialy tougher, less skilled Crimson Ranger's, but are much easier to train up.
Also, while hard to obtain, the Falcon infantry are amazing due to their incredibly heavy armour and excellent weapons.
  8. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

So kind of a lore question for the writers/mods: How much of the Realm of the Falcon is still Elvish? Their culture obviously still has considerable Elvish roots albeit far removed from Elintor, but in terms of the bloodlines/race of most citizens, are they primarily human or what?

So I have some questions regarding specialist troops.

What do leadership experts do? They dont seem to add to Leadership skills.

    How do specialist level function?
    For example
What is the difference between lvl 5 Prisoner management and a lvl 7 Prisoner management Expert?

Oh, hey, I can answer the first part. Leadership Expert troops count as 'Inspirational Soldiers'. That means they give morale to the army, which means that they at LEAST cancel out their own effect (party size) on lowering morale.

Also, can you marry companions in this game, once they become vassals? Thinking of marrying Tamaris if it's possible.
  10. -- Official Unofficial 'Ask Questions About Warband Singleplayer Here' Thread --

What's the range at which enemy units can reinforce each other, or friendly units can reinforce you? It seems fairly inconsistent.
  11. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

Sorry to ask another question so soon, but here it is. I'm aware that the only way to get 'normal' Falcon troops is through rescuing captives or very lucky mercenary spawns at the Guild, but can you get Noble Falcon troops the same way as any other faction's Noble troops ie recruit them from a Falcon castle?
  12. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

This might seem like a silly question, but are Elite Bounty Hunters supposed to have shields or not? I recall that they basically never spawned with them for a version or two, but now it seems like most come with a shield.
