    If not that and you still have your old machine, retrieve your key from your Windows registry:

    I don't have the real key, i have the offline key i used to activate it when i didn't have internet at home.
    I have the 4x8 key, not the 5x5/4x4 which isn't accepted for MP.

    Any lord without a fief. There is only 1 lord who never defects, that's in the scripts. A kingdom with only 1-2 fiefs = WIN. Just pray that kingodm ain't yours.

    Where the HELL are the useless terrorists (Sarranids). I always vanquish them off the map, imprison every lord and never let them go again. They rape only my village, and Hakim is worse than Harlaus. At leath Harlaus doesn't stay without a great hall after day 14.

    Crossbows, any day, any hour, any second. Milliseconds too if you want. I'd rather get 10 trade and 10 leadership instead of doing a lil bit more of damage and faster firing rate. 15 more soldiers > your extra damage. Nuff said.

    I have to say, Nords.
    Huge , fast moving infantry massas with big shields, throw weapons and axes. What else do you need?
    Big bloodbath for everyone. I go in like gandalf the white, come out looking like i fell in a pool of red paint.
    And the archers ain't bad too. And in the mod i play their skirmishers have lances to counter and ****up any cavalry.

    For Jeanne, i say let her knock ppl unconscious. Hell, you can't form a big army at lvl 1 and hope for best. You need to fight to get exp anyway.

    This one was fabricated too. OP party is behind the mahunters, and i bet he lured a lot of DB on the Manhunters and just proceeded to Ctrl+Alt+F4 and cry for attention too.

    this is true. sometimes we do fall in the situation where there is no other way out that's beneficial for us. but using money one's own soldiers paid for with blood to pay off bandits instead of investing it in training and upgrading one's soldiers has only one name - BULL****!

    I make most of my money out of fiefs and trading. I lose max 10 soldiers per month. And try to fight and win a 8 vs 170.
    In mountain terrain. And you only have 2 ded warriors. Buying out in such situation is called common sense, not BULL****.

    Sharpshooters underperforming

    I read about other people using them and decimating enemy lines before they even get close, tons of kills, etc, but I position mine in good high spots where they have plenty of time to shoot, place my Sergeants forward so they catch enemies while the Sharpshooters can shoot freely.  They barely kill anything.  My kill log is full of companion and Sergeant kills with the very occasionally sharpshooter kill.  Before battle lines meet they will get maybe 1-2 kills.  I'm pretty underwhelmed :<

    Army composition is about 7 companions, 25 Sergeants, 30+ Sharpshooters.

    Who are you playing against? If tey have shields your sharpies effectiveness drops sharply.

    Pretty much everyone here said that even if you're not big on ranged, bringing a crossbow at least to sieges is a good idea. this way you can do something to diminish the ranged threat to your own soldiers while waiting for the thrice-accursed belfry to reach the walls.

    You don't fight sieges much, do you? If you did you would've noticed that ranged weapons are much more important there, since unlike in the field you have nowhere to run but have plenty of cover.

    I fight a lot of sieges. I marshalled the conquest of all the former Vaegir lands. And anyway, i have always 70+ elite archers on my side. I i'm low on health i pull out my board shield and cover myself and the best archer i find (if attacking). If i'm defending, well, i will give xbows a try, but i have only 36 proficiency, i'll do much more damage to the enemy if i block the ladder with 3 board shields and occcasionally kill some1 with my 1 hander ( 420+ proficiency).
