They dont work even if you have Steam so it doesn't matter heh.

I use the courser about 99% of the time for the reasons stated above personally. Speed is the biggest weapon and defense a horseman has online. However, I do use warhorses from time to time but only when I know I will be fighting in a somewhat confined area because you can just waltz up to spears and pikes if you arent going full speed and just take the hits, good for horsebump etc. If you are in an open field or area though, just stick with the fastest horse you can afford.

I know some lords seems to automatically like or not like you due to your honor ratings. Perhaps that is what happened.

Also sometimes with smaller taverns the game does not spawn in all of the NPCs that are actually there. I havent had this happen in a long time but sometimes if you do something to get rid of one NPC then another will pop up in there if u just tab out and back in.

I have noticed that my party won't cross bridges unless they are right next to them when I tell them to move across one. Otherwise they start going the looooooong way.

Yea, it was intended so that you could get wins and dedicate them to the ladies.

It is mostly just a way to get the ball rolling with a lady in my opinion. Some ladies are more inclinded to that kind of thing and give you more than 1 point for it though; but I am sure you already know that judging from your post. It seemed to me that unless you get some kind of positive relation with her though, you wouldn't be able to continue with the courting process, so 1 point or 5 points it still let's you break the ice if you want to court her.

Tre  Huevos, that is an excellent idea! You could have your own little inter-mercenary wars and what not! Maybe even allow them to carve out their own factions the same way the player can?

  Meh, don't worry. They will keep playing and one day figure out how to counter the thing they so hate but don't want to put the effort towards countering and just think to themselves, "Wow! That really isn't that overpowered; I don't see what all the fuss is about!". Until they do figure out how to man up like everyone else and put some time and effort to be better though; they will just keep crying about how broke it must be!

  It sounds like a pretty cool idea to have that as an option at least but I agree with the previous post that there would need to be some kind of method for factions to get new lords or the game would end very quickly and get less challenging as it went on.

Well as one of those "bloody lancers" myself, I can say without a doubt the most frustrating thing would be to just kill their horses. Alot of good archers can do this so fast and even put an arrow in your back to quite literally "kick you while your down"! Most good cavalry will never give you anything but their shields to hit until they are right upon you to strike if you are an archer though so if you want to peg them while they are mounted you have to wait til they drop the shield or just kill the horse and get ready for melee combat OR shoot him while he is sliding. It will take practice probably but the archers that can do this stuff just own the cavalry at every turn.

  Well you just took your first step towards becoming a decent player online in that one statement! 

  Also if you have a pike then there is no reason you shouldn't have a shield and pick as well. just switch to your shield when you take fire.

  Pike is king I am telling you! 
If you have a hard time killing the dismounted guy, just start putting the pike through the horses head and most of the time you will kill the horse and the rider in thrust unless he has his shield up. Plus once you get the speed vs distance the rider will slide thing down then it will be very easy for you to pike him while he is sliding resulting in an easy one-two kill combo. I wouldnt be posting this stuff if I hadn't done it a hundred times myself.

Ok you basically need to forget single player outright and start anew when you get online really. When you play online and you fire an arrow, your computer sends the server the message that you shot an arrow then the server sends it back to everyone on the server and the arrow hits. The higher your ping is the longer the whole process takes. SOOOOO if you have a low ping the server gets your message from your computer faster saying you fired your arrow hence the arrow hits faster resulting in less lead being needed. If you have higher ping you pretty much need to lead more. Does that help at all?
