In all fairness I have no wish to hassle anyone on these forums. There are however a select few that will relentlessly whine about having minor things done to them while attempting to sharpen the pitchforks of about every mindless drone that would jump on said whiners bandwagon. Not to mention trying to intimidate potential new players by immediately saying things to the effect of: "Don't bother with this server, the 22nd will just grief you".

This kind of attitude is detrimental to relations between players on the server, and to the server as a whole in terms of growth and community building.

I am not, nor is the vast majority of the 22nd above making fair compromises and agreements. However, as fellow human beings, we should all share a common interest in seeing those who would impune our honour and integrity in a public forum without first extending an olive branch; kicked back down and once more be reminded how boulders become gravel.

More specifically I suffocated, the screen went dark in the same fashion and I lost hearts at the same rate, even though I was in the middle of a field when it happened. I think the server bugged out a bit.

Edit; I'm getting the same 'INTERNAL SERVER ERROR' every time I try to connect, can someone delete my data folder entirely?

Coffee, Noscope and myself just spent 2 hours tonight building an epic fortress. Building is easy and it takes very little time if you have a few guys doing it.

I actually revise my earlier estimate of the time it would take to rebuild what we destroyed of Zendar.

It wouldn't take a couple of guys a few hours to do. It would take a couple of guys around 30 minutes to do.

Jhnking, you've just spent all this time complaining instead of rebuilding. And for what?

Paranoid much? We already bombed you and we've done nothing even remotely aggressive since then. We've been building only.

We needed to work on accurate firing. And on top of that there's been bad blood between the Celts and 22nd for some time. They mocked our mothers, they mocked our warriors, and they laughed at our demands of tribute. Well, maybe this time they will listen. We're reasonable chaps you know.

For clarification, we didn't blow up their stuff for ****s and giggles, we blew up their stuff because we were drilling our cannon crews. They needed practice.

We're an active part of this community, we have a presence on the forums. There are others who run around killing as well whom as far as I know, never post here or even seem to care about the community. Oh well...

You honestly think we can do all the stuff we do if we build nothing? We're not nomads running around at night. We've lost all our stuff several times, but we've recovered. It doens't even take alot of effort. If you lose your armour, dig for iron. If you lose your house, melt some cobblestone and plant some trees.

Zendar is not 'blown in half'. It's missing a few chunks out of a couple of buildings. We spent 30 TNT doing that, which took alot of time to gather. You can rebuild using 2 guys in like a few hours.

How about this, if Zendar wants to be left alone, then pay us some tribute. Become our vassals. How is that for diplomacy?

As far as I know Janus runs this server, and I think he should make a decision about it either being PvP ornot being PvP.

And it's not as if 22nd blow up everyone indiscriminately. Everyone we attack is for a reason. We have allies and we have done copious amounts of trading with them. In between our short raids we've also built tons of stuff.

We're as much a part of this community as everybody else.

While we're on the subject, we've been attacked as well, both by invisible guys and for passing through someones faction lands. Each time we lost resources worth loads, but everything can be replaced.

So what you all want is a big pink paradise where we can all dance around wearing flower crowns or what?

I know I speak on behalf of most of the 22nd when I say that too much stuff is already locked away in terms of pvp.

Isn't it more fun when there is actual interaction between the factions?

Right now the only thing that hasn't been disabled is Cannons, which takes arseloads of TNT to operate. Now you're calling griefing on that as well?

All you have to do is replace some wood and rock, while we have to go hunting to acquire the insane amounts of gunpowder that it takes to siege a faction.

Now what if you do in fact outlaw cannons as well, what is left? Killing their dudes and claiming their territory? Well that won't work, because people just log out and run away.

We've had several highly successfull campaigns, each one took time, resources and we never got a return on these that could be called a fair trade. What we did get is alot of fun doing it. So how about you all calm down, stop whining and get to work on your own cannons. Come blow our stuff up and we'll simply relocate and rebuild. That's part of the fun.

If you want to build beautiful picturesque cities, then clearly a factions server that allows war declaration is not for you.

22nd is a faction with 12 or so members, and we all support 'more' wanton carnage. Bring back torch destruction, bring back ignitable faction lands. Bring it all on, and we'll never complain when you burn our stuff down.

Zendar's location isn't a secret right? I mean... I've walked past there several times as I walked to and from the north koreans.
