umm well this has never worked for me but what probably affects it is how long there at war with you and the relationship with the king  and if it was a normal game how bad they are being beaten would affect if they want peace but that doesn't seem to be true.If you want a better relation ship with the kings you need to be capable to beat there forces if and when the option to capture the king comes up let him go and your relationship with him will go up and you'll also get some honer.

Edit: the only time emissary works for me is when im fighting agents vagirs

Well if you want to start a war just attack another nations villages caravans war parties and farmers and eventually they will start a war with your faction

What happens when you conquer everything? i never got to that point because i get bored with my game and start a new one

Dose what kind of damage really affect anything?

for me they usually accept if they are in a castle but rarely on the field but i don't know if thats just coincidence

You will still get a fief even if it was looted.For some reason and it happens to me a lot

I have a smile when i'm fighting 15 people alone and losing and right before i die my Nord Huscarls comes and rapes them

Well when you get captured and your companions are also in your party they too get captured but the thing is when you escape they don't escape  with you so there stuck captured until you free them or they get lucky

Well if you own like a village and you let it get raided your controversy goes up and a lot of people hate you when you controversy goes up but i don't know why some lady's have it

if you check the stats the mameluks have higher power strike than swadian knights

i dont know what the other position you need is but for chief minister i think he needs good persuasion
