  1. Unit Guide

Trainer skill only works if the trainer is a higher level than the Trainees <- always been the case so I expect what happen is recruits are lower level than you (usually the case once you got a couple of levels) so can use trainer to upgrade them.  The veterans are a higher level troop and might not be trainable by your hero (it not uncommon for troops to jump up 5+ levels with an upgrade) also the XP needed to do the second level jump also jumps a lot.
  2. Which faction has the best musketeers?

wannyboy that is an Imperial Commissar is Warhammer 40K Imperial Guard officer see http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Commissar, who execute a member of there squad to increase the effectiveness of the squad.

In history Commissars are Russian Officials.

  6. Are there any unmarried middle-aged ladies in Calradia?

    Ok Archonsod.
As for what I stated about if you made it to adulthood healthy then barring warfare childbirth or the plague your highly likely to reach 50.
That is the case at lest in England with fairly good records in the Middle Ages (the Archaeological records (digs) support this in all periods even the Pre-History period). In fact that average age of death is about 30 regardless of time period, until the Renaissance then it increased for Europeans slowly (with a huge jump in the industrial revolution due to a major reduction in infant/Child mortality).
    Edit: added a source,
    See this: http://www.sirguillaume.com/Downloads/Old_Age-Height-Nutrition.pdf.

Errr, I don't have the cheats enabled in the first place... How do I activate them then?

Configure menu in the WB launcher.
  8. Whats the best troops for each category?

Aren't Sarranid Mamlukes better than Swadian Knights?

They where now Knights are better but more costly.
  9. Are there any unmarried middle-aged ladies in Calradia?

    Archonsod 说:
Middle age in the medieval era being around 15 for most people ....

Your wrong, if you lived past infantry you would make it about 50 odd if you didn't die in childbirth or from non natural causes (Noble would reach far older). The average age of death was about 30 because of high infant mortality.

TBH the rule was marry young because dad wants you to.
  10. Anyone know how the game assigns the random points for high level troops?

"most troops also have "default attributes": def_attrib = str_7 | agi_5 | int_4 | cha_4" <- They all have this as there base unless it a unique unit IE a lord.

BTW there are some troops with out this:
    "knows_common = knows_riding_1|knows_trade_2|knows_inventory_management_2|knows_prisoner_management_1|knows_leadership_1"

The Vaegirs above Footman, khergits above Horseman, all the Nords (though all there non archers have fixed points in riding mostly 2, but as a bonus they got the highest fixed points in useful combat skills of any units).

As for what happens with points work out how many points a player would have at that level spend the fixed points in there slots then randomly assign the rest.

Is there a way to edit where the points go so that troops that don't have throwing weapons don't end up with power throw?
Yes point the useful skills fixed point value higher then they got no points to waste on the **** skills.

As for skills I manage to make a PC that started with ~10 base STR but had PS 4, Male, Noble, Squire, Revenge.
  11. A singleplayer manual

For accuracy from my testing as long  as PD > than requirement you get most of the bonus then some more for the second and a minimal amount for the 3rd (will be even less important for AI though as they can release at the optimal accuracy time every-time unlike us humans)
  12. Troop Tree

I guess it a unit type that was since removed since I never seen here either (according to her stats she a better fighter than a peasant woman)
  13. Lord stats : leadership important ?

    Karmine 说:
I want to pull out STRAIGHT FROM THE SCRIPT!

Okay if if you set Campaign Difficulty on hard Lords gain army faster, if you put it on Normal they gain Army normally... if you put it on Easy they get army slower.

Okay why does this happen ?...

Reinforcement cost on Hard is 300 gold
Reinforcement cost on Normal is 450 gold
Reinforcement cost on Easy is 600 gold

See what I did there ? Proofed that Lords do use gold. Also Lords do have limited size it is just calculated in weird ways... But yea Leadership and Charisma seems to effect their Size too. I modded Count Reland to have 63 Charisma and 10 Leadership.... guess what.. he had huge army almost as big as his Kings.

Hmm then in my game the must of amassed a huge fortune then.
  14. Which Helmet

What you want is a full face helmet without any fancy stuff for the best look with plate armour. To me that Wing helmet can go die (it about as historical as the Viking horned helmets, unless your talking about Ancient Greek/Roman worship helms for Hermes/Mercury).
  15. Lord stats : leadership important ?

Um the AI don't use money at lest I never seen them needing it, the only thing that seems to effect there party size is player lvl time and if they are king or not (if leadership has an effect it minimal and is far out weighed by the over factors).
  16. SAMURAI MOD

 Um try Black Sky mod it got 3 Samurai infantry units in it or you can always trawl through the rest of the mod forum (BTW this topic should be in the mod section anyway)
  17. Right to Rule - The Scarce Points

Try to get a peace broker mission from a guild master complete it a get RTR points.
  18. 40 Proficiency points increase vs. 8% damage increase

Weapon master main bonus is to proficiency gains during battle, I not sure how it works but higher proficiency value from weapon master = more free proficiency points.

    Apstinentas 说:
So if you  convince a lady to elope you loose 20 rep with her right? So when you are married does your reputation with her effect anything?

Err surely that with her Guardian not the Lady herself. Your Rep with your Wife is a none factor.
  20. Looting Skill - Anyone know for a fact?

Theres a base amount of loot at the end of any given battle looting adds 10% more items to this per point. Given its 10% per point 1 point will make ZERO difference unless the base loot amount is 10. 2 points 5 base loot items =+1 bonus one, 5 points 2 basic loot items =+1 bonus and 10 points is 1 bonus item per base item.

The base quality of the items is unchanged by looting but because there more items the chance of getting a good item increases.
Here an example involving dice instead of items:
Lets say your only interested in getting 6es with 1 dice the odds of seeing at lest one 6 is 1/6 now double the number of dice the odds of you getting at lest one 6 is now 1 in 3.3 with 4 dices the odds are 50% that there be at lest one 6 and with 20 dice the odds of there being at lest one 6 is 97%.
