    For me it's Samarra Caslte, if you have like 10 mamelukes at the top of the ladder, noone will even set foot on the walls, they just get slaughtered. Also because it's a very beatifull castle (with the sideways shooting holes) and it's in the Sarannid Sultanate.

    Even 20% is too much, I mean c'mon you have 80 mamelukes looking down on him, you took away his horse, weapons and such. How could he possible even escape? And the 5% in a prisoner tower is bull**** too, I mean, he is in a tower in a castle with a huge garrison guarding it, how coul he even TRY to escape?

    I NEVER buy stuff that is better quality than normal, I mean cmon, you pay 5 times the price for just 3 more defence, attack points doesn't matter. I mean c'mon I can spend those 40K to raise my 100 mamelukes army.

  8. Renown Value in Battle

    It has nothing to do with all of this. There is a code in the Warband scripts that makes that only the valourous, great commanders and fighters get their renown (it is named "renown" for a reason). Personally I have never had such problems. +50 renown yeah.  :mrgreen:

    Seriously, it the system might show at the beginning of the fight the renown you'll get but there might be some kind of error that doesn't calculate the renown you should get WITH your army, because the more men you have in your party and the better they are, the less renown you'll get. Because I mostly fight alone and I always get the renown it shows, but when I had 50 mamelukes I almost had no renown.

    Best loot I had was a masterwork bow, it was worth 2700 denars or something like that.

    I once dated the nurse, it was difficult because she always is in presence of the lady and when I try to hit on her she says something like "Keep your hands where I can see 'em, your lordship." I kinda like it that she likes to be dominated but sometimes she scares me.  :mrgreen:

    I have the same thing going on around Rivacheg. 40+ Sea Raider groups with lots of Vaegir and Nord prisoners. My army is only at 95 men but these damn mobs of 40 - 45 come after us! I always beat them, and usually with little loss but damn there are alot and they are aggressive!

    Whaat?! You made a trader char or what? I can take on up to 90 sea raiders easily (i'm lvl 19 or so) and even if your a trader just stay on a distance and command your army. If you only have recruits because you started an army just go to the training field and spar with your men.

    I don't understand why people don't know what to do in this kind of situation. It's simple, you take their scalps and hang them in your hall as art-deco pieces. After a few years they might sell for alot of denars....

    Lol it was almost like reading a roman, anyways. If you want to keep your castle just put 1000 recruits in it. Low cost and effective. And about the relations, who cares? If you have 1000 recruits you don't even need vassals, and who cares if they hate you? You could try to make companions into vassals.

    66. When the ennemy army is advancing by 10 paces and your army as well, ride closely behind the ennemy army with your horse. Alot of troops will turn their back on your army giving them a big advantage.

    Also if your kingdom lost a castle, fief or town in a previous war it'll mean that soon another war will start to get those teritory's back.

  19. Warmongering

    Just attack a lord or caravan, raiding villages won't help, it only gets you -rep and cash :grin:
    Most effective way is still the quest from another lord, that gives you a 100% guarantee that a war will start.

    60. Buy that nice looking onehanded scimitar, you know you want it.
    PS: same for War Cleavers.
