First post!  I have about 90 hours logged in the game - played over free weekend and fell in love.

Anyway.  A few issues which I'm sure have been brought up before are - just thought I reiterate and see what long-time fans think of my criticisms...


Defecting late-game:  Good God the constant defecting is annoying.  I saw one time a Lord left Calradia altogether.  But I feel this needs to be more prominent as a faction is withered down.

NPC looting your fiefs:  Sure raid my villages and I'll raid yours.  But when you're a Sarranid Emir and you go out of your way to raid Kulum (far-left peninsular of the Nords) just because is outrageous.  AKA the AI behind this needs to be adjusted come Bannerlord.

6 Looters against 90 Huscarls/Veteran Archers:  Order troops to attack...Huscarl died.  It never fails when there is that circumstance

Party Companion Bickering: Sure a bit realistic but quite unnecessary.  "Klethi is a cultist!" - Jelemar guy.  You're telling me all 100 of my Nordic barbarians get along just fine then?  (P.S. Does party morale only affect your travel speed?)

Falling off ladders during sieges because your allies are pushy: I trust this is fixed in Bannerlord (or later expansions of Warband - Fire and Napoleonic don't appeal to me)...plus I look forward to improved sieges in Bannerlord.

Food:  It'd be cool if we could build a bakery in a city and then pay 1000 denar to have the bread shipped directly to me forever (toggleable)...more of a suggestion though.

I think there was something else but it escapes me.

You can't really expect the AI to be smart. I mean, come on! Who raids a village and THEN sieges the castle! You siege the castle first!

You still have some changes like the staff that can adjust tax rates, do recruiting for you, send gifts to other lords, and a bunch of other tasks. You have some more options with dealing with your king as a vassal. The information provided in some of the reports page is much better. And auto-loot for companions and auto-selling of loot saves tons of clicks.

I would recommend going for 10 in trainer and tactics skills rather than into the main character boosting skills.,you should know this stuff, but I'll just say anyway what these two skills does, trainer: faster training depending of you character's level, tactics, increases your units performance in battles, super helpful.

Except both of those are exceptionally useless if you're soloing? You have no troops.

I've never soloed, but I would imagine the most efficient way for the sea raiders is to ride just around their maximum range, they'll waste a LOT of ammo like that. The longbows are harder, unless you've got a ranged weapon and can snipe them. Not sure how you'd deal with them.
