The Battle for Praven had been a disaster... a massacre.

The squire swung his axe violently at Jolnir, narrowly missing him and splintering the tavern door-sign but getting his weapon stuck in the process. In a quick movement Jonir's sword pierced him under the arm going up through his shoulder blade, the blood gushed out signaling that an artery had been severed.

The fire of the pillaged city devoured everything in it's path. Blackened bodies of women, children and soldiers littered the narrow pathways of the streets, weapons had been strewn aside as some fled, most had been killed.

At Jolnir's feet there were multiple bodies, mostly Swadian but some Nordic as his comrades strived to help defend him. One corpse stood out, a thin body lay strewn across the floor, the fire-red hair was matted with the crimson color of blood and the armor on it was hacked to pieces, multiple arrows pierced the plate. The weapon of the fallen warrior was cast aside, its value was beyond measure. The glint of an emerald provided a beacon to Jolnir, now safely assured that no enemies were near him.  As he moved other to the corpse his mind became more and more frantic as he tried to process what might have happened. He pulled up the sword in his hand and admired its craftsmanship, the pommel had been created using an alloy that gave it a distinctive gold shimmer. What stunned him most of all was the incredible carving of lion that lined the double-edged blade. He dropped the beautiful weapon and hurried over to the body. His hand desperately moved towards the arm in an attempt to pull the dead person over and to discover the identity although he already had a clear image of the victim. Oblivious to his surroundings and his sight blinded by tears he failed to hear the dagger being unsheathed.

The assassin- his objective clear-thrust the weapon between the crying man's ribs providing a gasp of pain relieving the attacker who knew his objective was complete. The assassin, his young face blood splattered and covered in mud dropped his weapon and bent down over the man he had just killed. Water trickled down his red cheeks as he realized what he had done. The boy just lay down into a ball and closed his eyes, wishing his mother would come back to him.

Isolla stood defiantly on the shore. The crisp winter wind blew across her neck, her soft and supple neck. Her skin was not rough, not scarred and not a scratch lay upon her body. What did she know about war? What did she know about ruling a kingdom? She banished such thoughts from her mind. In two hours time her rag-tag army of Nordics and mercenaries would descend upon Praven, she would watch her people and her subjects get slaughtered and raped, watch as the place she once called home burn in the night. Would it be worth it? All for a kingdom that she had barely a claim to? She banished the thoughts again. To counter she forged thoughts of herself at the head of the once might Swadian Empire, leading her knights and squires into battle behind the Red Lion. Behind her the war-horns of the North blew, shaking her out of her wits, forcing her to focus on the matters ahead. The warrior Jolnir approached, he was the one who had brought her to this place and time, he was the one who had taken up her claim to the throne with only a slim chance of success. He raised an army of Housecarls and Sharpshooters out a raw band of recruits and sent the battle-lines of Harleus fleeing to the seven-winds. He placed his mailed hand onto her shoulder, his musky scent clogged her senses.

Id change that line, might be hard for a man to get it "over and done" with 3 women in one sitting.

liked your story though, brought me back a memory of my war with the vaegirs...charging 1000+ vaegirs alongside the King and his men

yeah happened to me with Sultan Hakim,
by the end of it the Emirs (or Lords or whatever) will be so drunk or hunover that they will forget about your wedding.

at my highly-publicized wedding there was a total of 3 people (including me and the fiancée).

I notice that many of them lords are Swadian

1) I find it hard to believe that God guided Moses to the "Promised Land" - the land that was RIGHTFULLY theirs.

2) Apparantly (so my R.E teacher says ) the promised land was already inhabited, so i ask what happened to the inhabitants, she said that the inhabitants were eventually driven out or killed.*

can someone honestly tell me that this is right?

This is in no way saying that Jews or Muslims or whoever inhabitats Israel or the areas around there. shouldnt be there now.

i I think ive found a quite important bug
It is to do with the "merged Tax income/Troop Wage" screen
Well (seeing as im a noob at forums and dont know how to post a screenshot  ill just tell you and round the numbers up )

Well IT tells me my Fief Income which is "2000"
And my troop wage which is "1000"
I should make 1000 denars but instead it takes 1000 denars + random amount away from piggy bank

IS it just me making some error?
if you need some more info i can post one of you tell me how

wouldnt that be a bit wierd for Swadia.

seeing as Swadia was seen as a big empire when the Rhodoks/Vaegirs rebelled.

two empires wouldn't really fit IMO  :S

+ wouldnt the Nations of CAlradia ally with the Empire if they are opposed to the Black Knights?

watt about a sort of rebel faction. A faction that split of from other nations and forms a new one, being recognised as an independent country. Maybe they could invade Suno or some where with an army of like 1000 peasants, bandits and guards perhaps. Once they take the city they will be at peace with everyone except the Swadians.

Im thinking they could be the jack of all trades and use a lot of everything (except plate infantry and heavy cavalry... they are farmers after all)

is it me or is this guy arguing with the Mercenary?

i wouldnt argue with a Grandmaster Knight or The Merceanry when they are clearly right
