    i have not had ONE crash from the day warband came out, and i've beening modding like a madman... even when my UNcompatible save games start showing their flaws... (like strings showing up as names)... it's you.... promise :wink:

    i have not been able to find this anywhere either. I wanted to change the amount of negative relation given to vassals when awarding a fief to a different vassal.. i've searched for this but cannot find it

    the texture is black_helm if you wanted to change it, i looked it up after seeing the turban. i did the editing in python tho
  6. How to catch a lord.

    either use MBTweaks

    or

    Python - edit module constants, there is a variable "hero_escape_after_defeat_chance" by default set to 70. This means 70% chance of escape. If you change it to 5, you'll capture the lord 95% of the time.

    where is this in the module system? i cannot find any numbers relating to percentages
  8. NCP castle garrison.

    they will eventually put troops in it depending on their income, if their only fief is a castle, it will be painfully slow, if they are captured or constantly in limbo, i dont think anything garrisons. if they are rich, i've had their castles garrison 190 troops in under a week from 0 when i awarded it to them....

    just my observations
  9. Siege Battles (in SP) needs some fixing.

    To get your archers to fight, select the "archer" group and have them stand back and be spread out. They will not fire if friendlies are in their "area of dont fire" then they will shoot while the inf and cav charge
  10. Renown decreasing

    It's coded in that renown will decrease a % over a time period, it may be 5% a week. Not sure on the details tho.

    i noticed this for the first week, then i greedily looked for it the 2nd week.... back to normal.... is it happening repeatedly?
  13. allied vassals dont join siege?

    i've had it go both ways, if they're 'followin' me then they did not join. if i started a campaign and had them all following me, it worked fine. i had 8 armies of 200+ troops with me, and they joined the siege on a campaign

    in translation "follow me" does not = attack/defend (tho it should!)
    "EVERYONE come kick ass with me" = attack/defend

    it'll be fixed, no doubt - very annoying tho

    i dont think this is a bug. if the lord is on a mission or 'doing' something IE NOT ACTING IDEPENDENTLY then they wont want to talk... that's the pattern i've seen

  16. Castle defence arrow / bolt and other ranged wearpon/ammo replenishment?

    In warband you can pick up arrows, but not bolts out of the ground and off the walls. You also can loot friendly and enemy corpses for ammo. I think there is a mod that adds an item chest to the siege maps, letting you go for more ammo.

    You can do this with the python script editing, there are lots of tutorials on editing troops stats, not to mention creating them and creating upgrade/tech trees

    I'd like to tweak the amount of Lord relationship when i offer a fief. 0 if easiest, but i'd like to see it switched to something like if they have fewer fiefs, there is no rep hit, but if one guy has 8 fiefs and another has 1 fief, if i give an additional one to the guy with 8, the guy with 1 fief will have his rep decreased by 16 or so, so it's a little more realistic
  19. Tax inefficiency is literally bankrupting me!

    an option to build a townhall or tax office to reduce the inefficiency in that one town/village

    or

    my vassals paying me taxes on their fiefs (100% efficiency at a fraction of the income)

    or both

    would like to see something to keep a full battle campaign going without raiding newb spots constantly
