  1. Samurai Swords and armor

Oh man, really?  well just disregard me then.
  2. Samurai Swords and armor

I don't think they survived the transition to Warband.
  3. Wife Doesn't Like Me, much.

    it's not fixed if you're a king...
  4. Party Size Morale

i like this idea.  really what's the point of the companions having access to those skills if they do nothing?
  5. Does anyone else find the courtship process kind of boring?

I married my character off to Lady Nadha of Khergit Khanate. Easy enough to get her married to my character, her father wants to marry her off and so long as you're a warrior she's easy to get. I had relationship of '20' when she married my character. I thought, with her being a fighty sort of woman (the bard says she prefers hunting & fighting), that she'd come along with me and fight alongside me (ala 'The Wedding Dance' mod), but no, she sat in the castle.

i know exactly where you're coming from.  I married mine off to one of those women with "unparalleled ambition".  The way the bard pitched it to me i thought she would be a devious little wellspring of insidious plots to turn friend against friend and rocket our family up into the king's good graces.

psh.  just Tupperware parties all day.  asking me where I've been.  why can't i call?  don't ever get married.
  6. Holding tournaments.

If you hold a feast in one of your towns, most of the time a tournament will be held there during it, just like in other kingdoms.

and like the colonel said, i don't think you can effect her relation in any capacity.
  7. Right to Rule

if you don't give your lords land they steadily loose favor with you.  rather quickly too.  and once that drops far enough, they ditch you.  so long as you give them something, even if it's just a town, their relationship points will stop draining
  8. can you move ur original city ?

as i understand it the first WB release allowed you to move your minister, but with the recent patches something may have screwed with the coding and now you cant.

getting lords to join up with you has always been a long process for me.  all i can suggest to you in that regard is to be patient, send some envoys to other nations for recognition, and send out your companions to raise support for you if you haven't already.

and yes, very rarely you will see a text notification that a lord has abandoned his liege to join *your faction name here*.  When this happens, you must go to your capitol and the lord in question will be there waiting for you and will offer you his service.
  9. Controversy.

    nijis 说:
You expect to be judged fairly on accomplishments and/or failures in your particular sphere of responsibility? That's not politics -- not now, and not then. As marshal, you're the king's main adviser. His subjects can't blame the king, so everything they feel like blaming on someone, they'll blame on you -- military defeats, banditry, the cows giving sour milk, solar eclipses, you name it.

I'm not quite sure how you're seeing your controversy shoot up to 100 in two days, though. NPC marshals can usually hang on to the position for a couple of weeks.

That being said, I should introduce some rewards, and give a small deduction for damage inflicted on the enemy.

So this raises a question for me:  If you start up your own kingdom and name yourself martial, will your vassals suddenly become bolder and start blaming you (the king) for everything that's going wrong?  Would the controversy spikes be the same?  Halved?  Nonexistent?
  10. A question or two...

The way I got the option was to walk up to any lord of the faction you want to work for and ask them if they have any tasks for you.  Sometimes they'll have odd jobs, but usually if the kingdom is at war, they'll ask you to join up as a mercenary.

If this doesn't work for you, you may have to report it as a bug.
  11. Marraige

I doubt that.  There's no way any king anywhere ever would marry off his daughter to some no-name foreigner.  Besides that, these "king's children" don't have rendered characters, driving home the point that they are unattainable.
  12. Marriage options

I tried out the infidelity thing.  Even though the option is there and even though their father's tell you "btw my daughter thinks you're the bee's knees" if you walk up to them and start flirting they tell you you're gross and to go away.  It's probably not possible.

or maybe they're just playing hard to get
  13. CTD/freezes During large sieges

I had this problem with large seiges as well.  Though my problem was fixed when i turned the corpse count from "unlimited" to "zero"

without all the dead bodies to render, my computer handled it just fine and i've never had the same problem since.
  14. Can't Appoint Marshal & Companion Dissapeared

Don't have an answer for your first problem.  Sorry.

The second problem can only be avoided i think by taking a town first.  Then Nizar would have been in the town's castle.  In your case, i don't know how you can fix that.

By "your lord" I assume you mean "your character", and by "leadership" i assume you mean the skill?  In which case you must increase your charisma level and then drop points into your leadership skill.  If you ment "leadership" as in "right to rule" then you must send your companinons out on missions to tell everyone how awesome you are and that you should be king.  The only other way i've seen is to send envoys to the other factions for recognition of your soverenty, but to do that you need your Minister.

And i don't think you can marry your companions.  At least the option has never come up for me anyway.
  15. Problems with Kingship

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but if it has, I couldn't find it... Two problems: 1.) Does anyone know how to move your chief minister to another city?  When I captured my first city I thought I remembered reading that you could move your minister around if you needed.  Now that I...
