  1. couple questions #1 is how come the food in my inventory is giving +0 to morale?

    Actually not only your food don't give any morale boost but the game "thinks" you have no food at all and you get hit with -30 morale. It is a known bug and if you do a little search there is a tedious way of getting rid of it (if I remember correctly it requires replacing or modifying game files so it is not for everyone).

    Sorry - cannot offer any help with the missing wife.
  2. Morningstar vs Bastard Sword

    I actually use sword (not bastard) but all of my companions are with morningstars. But I have a bow/sword combo and usually play supportive role - disrupting the missile troops, picking up the routed enemies (before all of my troops start chasing a single running recruit) etc, that's why I prefer fast and outreaching weapon for me personally.
  3. 10 things I would love to see in M&B 2

    Once you start your own kingdom and survive the initial onslaught the SP game becomes boring - train units, conquer castles/towns... rinse, repeat...  (who cares about the lords if you can even give them troops and forget about them).
    What will be a good is some kind of "Darklands" game. Actually this seems extremely good idea:smile:

    If I change the marshal does the old marshal get renown or it counts as "kicked out"? Also do they (the existing AI lords) gain renown by wining tournaments too?

    BTW - I am sure the number of troops as all don't depend on the number of fiefs the lord has but on the overall strength of the realm and towns are much more valuable then the castles.

    It is really harder now - and it is better this way. In the previous game with a lance and bow I could easily beat almost any enemy army. Now it is impossible vs mixed enemy army.

    Yes, that's true. But I yesterday wonder WTF is going on with one of my oldest serving vassals only to find out he somehow remained w/o fief. I am sure not due to the enemy capturing town/castle, I guess I just missed him.

    So actually 2 additional dialogs options are needed:
    1. To be able to assign villages at once on the pop-up screen after you capture castle/town (now only the castle/town can be assigned at once)
    2. When talking to the minister about assigning a fief to be able to see which of the lords how many fiefs have. This should be present in the dialogue at (1) too.

    Yes, there is a way. Hit the key "Q", then hit the button "Characters" down on the screen. On the right list, find each lord that you have ("Lord ...") Then when you click them you will see their properties on the left screen, "he is the lord of..." If he has no fiefs, it will say just that, "he has no fiefs".
    I know this; the problem is when I assign a fief I cannot check this at the same time; so I have to pre-check this and write down the fiefless lords before talking to the minister about assigning the free fiefs.

    For me (1.134) this numbers appear only when I just captured  a town/castle and to chose if I want to assign the newly captured castle/town at once (which I usually don't want); also I can assign the newly captured town/castle at once but have no option to assign the newly captured villages w/o talking to the minister.

    It may be easily modded; do some mod exists which enhance the interface?

    Arghhh... Now I read what my wife said... it is a feature, not a bug:smile:
    But I guess this is a way to control how much time the Lords will rest and gather troops... coz with the option to give them troops it is direct cheat.

    As for the foods and drinks it always cost 1 each no matter how many lords come (even if no1 comes at all).

    I started my kingdom by conquering Khudan; after a while the Vaegirs pleaded for peace and I accepted. So I decided to throw a feast... And here comes the problem - the feast started immediately w/o any notice and already 18 days wouldn't finish:-( Don't know what will happen when the quest...

    The payment depends (probably) on persuasion skill; but 300 golds is enough; not only this but when I tried to return to the elder to talk again he tells me "we already agreed on this, have trust in me" or something like this.
    Maybe the fire don't remove the wall guards and in castles the wall guards are too close so they are alarmed too...

    That's pretty easy—just give them two.
    Small and slow... although I need yet to understand how much the shield speed really matters.

    Start with Nords; kill the Swadians and take their knights for open field and Nords for the sieges.

    You mean you make an agreement with the elder; then went straight for the castle and the number of guards was reduced?
    Nothing happens for me; I need to free a lord from Telrog castle and everytime there are 2 melee guards and 2 archers on the wall right before the dungeon door.

    Even at midnight option I still see no difference. I went there at "evening" and agreed the fire to be set at midnight. But up to the morning absolutely nothing happened and the guards were still there everytime I sneaked.

    I know i have to bargain with the village elder to set the fire in 1 hour and I do it... and then nothing happens. What is supposed to be seen and when?

    The function is not designed to stop arrows but to reduce the dmg you receive based on the shields resistance value. So you will not see arrows stuck in the shield even when/if it works.
