    Well they do have shamans which use some offensive and curative spells from what i know. Usually i just sack a few village to get  what i need since the spells were so expensive ( kind of ironic that most villagers cant read but have spell scrolls )

    Each village has that one eccentric old man that collects things, and they sell his things when he forget about them :wink:

    I can see orcs coming from the barren area next to the kergit lands. Elves main territory could be on a smaller continent island in the ocean around Praven with the drows and they have a city on the mainland still. Dwarves could have more mountain halls (maybe a fast travel system between them) in the mountains that still exist. Holy Order could be in a large mountain valley above the orcs (orcs would need to travel through kergit land to get to them). Undead could inhabit the desert under Sarrnid and the Demon faction could go in a volcano area under that.

    I've taken out 1000+ guys while defending a castle with like 50 mages + 50 magic resistant melee troops. (+ maybe like 50 zombies or some low level garbage troops that you send for fodder down to meet the attackers so they stand still and fireballs eat them up).

    And then you run out of ammo :p

    If they would use their staffs kill mode instead of knives it wouldn't be as bad, they would just be glass cannons.

    The thing would be I think you are supposed to use the calradians to supplement what you lack. If you can't get cav train calradian horsemen, etc...

    There already is a Mercenary Mage troop, and most of the magic-less factions' lords already use them...
    I think (correct me if I am wrong) to make a Mercenary Mage unit for each Native faction (6 in total) so they will help during sieges.

    That's what I meant, so they would technically be a different mage from each faction.

    What if you added a new troop for each faction that was a "Mercenary Mage", don't let them be something you can upgrade a troop to and keep the ones you can get in the taverns.

    Although I'm rather glad they don't help out, a couple well placed lightning spells would take out the person I'm rescuing :razz:

    A workaround is to tell your party to march towards a town or village, you'll hit the shore and it'll ask to disembark.

    That makes sense about the mercenaries. Also the staff doesn't work in bandit ambushes (when trying to do something in a town or village) the lightning spell however does work.

    Also Ibdeles Castle doesn't sit properly on the terrain, hills allow you to walk over walls and siege engine is stuck. Also part of the town is sunken in to the point where you can walk under the buildings.

    When attempting to do prison breaks the archmages staff's special attack (the one that kills and has a really cool sound effect) doesn't work. It works perfectly on the field but not prison breaks (tried with Dirhim and another swadian castle and multiple bandit parties  :twisted:).

    Killing with flame arrow, black bolt, or archmages staff (on kill mode) produce duplicate damage and death messages, damage amounts are different but if they die it says two of the same unit died when only one did.

    EDIT: Mercenary mages don't join in with the guards in stopping a prison break. Flame arrow seems to do nothing to swadian infantry and militia. I'm wearing archmage gear, with staff, healers ring, and a pair of elven plate boots (there appears to be no magic friendly boots so I went with the ones that looked like they would be). I got a headshot on swadian infantry while he was oblivious to the prison break and it did 0 damage, was only doing 4-6 damage on the militia.

    Well then it may not of been RDMing but NLR definitely wasn't followed, I don't have any screenshots because I crashed after dieing and didn't feel like going back on. I was hoping telling you when it happened would help  :oops:

    Anyway, if you are and that bug is still around, you can solve that quest by hitting (prior to enabling cheats) ctrl + f4 to kill all guards one by one and the mission should succeed.

    I appears I wasn't, sorry I thought the main was newer then the patch... Just realized it was a 7zip file instead of 4.7 -_-

    Can't seem to bust prisoners out of Bloody Cliff, the guards don't become hostile. Attempted during the day, two townsfolk became hostile. Also attempted at night and nobody became hostile.
