im sure that once we're able to host our own warband servers there will be some way for us to customize the battles, and if theres not someone will proberly work there way around it and mod it - just give it some time and see what happens

As for the armor thing...it is probably just an easy target because most people don't have armor.  As Booya said, I am untrollable because I didn't express any shame or reluctance to talk about how much I paid for it or that I owned it. This is probably because EVERYONE who has seen me wear my armor or know I own it are all more accepting (and in some cases encouraging) of me having it than I would have ever thought when I started collecting it....be they friends, family, women, whatever.

although you should take a better picture of it, like in a field or something, the lighting in that picture is terrible and it looks like what it is, your living room

i think it should be fine to wear it public - just not in a setting like a mall or something - i make my own chainmaile and have worn that in public and had no issues with laws of any kind - the sword in public might be different, i've had that in public a few times as well (not in a big social setting though, i'm not sure on the laws for that... just don't try to hide it and they can't get you for hidden weapons without a license? )

Theres a free audio chat program called Mumble, its like Ventrilo (i think its better ) by default the servers come with 100 people able to connect, you can change it to more or less in the servers ini file if you need to, the quaility of it is better than vents - because you can manually set the kbis/s rate with a max of 49.9 kbits/s, or limit the amount of each user on the server. you could try using this for M&B instead of vent?

i host my own mumble server, if theres enough users in M&B that need one i could add some more channels just for M&B if needed

Wow just found out i was accepted - had to do the manual beta application because of my mail service wasn't sending me the confirmation, made a new email account for the purpose of the beta application, silly me forgot to check that email account... just did and i've been accept since the 18th of august but only found out today, Whoops

Now all you have to do is download paint.net, open up one of the banner files in your mount&blade/textures folder, and paste over one the existing banners in it with this one. The banner files are called like : banners_a.dds

I heard that the final version was supposed to have a banner importing tool, but I haven't heard anything else about it.

edit: and you can see the version without the canvas texture. I like the second one better, personally.

this looks great as a banner, but the symbol is offcentered on shields and surcoats , on surcoats its brown on the front and red on the back. what could i do to correct this?
