    The epic department ultra noob build* has the large war cleaver in it somewhere because it does the most damage. Other than that there really isnt a concensus. Speed/reach is way more important than damage in most cases, and the extent to whch you want speed or reach determines the subjectivity.

    There isn't one. Different swords vary greatly in damage, speed, length, weight, etc. You really just have to pick whatever best fits your current playstyle/battle.
