i am a marshall for the nord on my 300 day and my renown was 600. asking for support from another lord and befriend with the king can be accounted as for the reason, other than the fact i take over about 5 castles ALONE prior to being a marshall.

During my reign, before i resign after 40 days, i took over about 2 cities (Tulga and Suno) and about 6 castles, in one single campaign. and yes i have 40 rhodok sharpshooter, 30 huscarls and about 15 mamlukes in my army

that is the case... we are at peace and i mean piece for almost 20 days and all i currently doing is trading (which made me realize that i am really not good at trading things  )

and then on the weekly budget report.. both castle generates none... ARRRGGHHH!!!!

you're saying that the castle income doesn;t come from the castle... but it stacked/doubles the attached village?

not me it ain't. the castle provides no income. i currently have 1 city (2 villages attached), 2 castles (1 village each) and another village withour castles nor cities. We are currently not at war with anyone, yet the castle's income is NONE. which one is the bug?

5 villages, 2 castles and i city (TULGA!!!) that should provide me sufficient income dont you guys think? and i am a marshal of nord

you wanna know what i do ... i got all things sufficient and magnificent, believe it or not!

what i did is put everything your wife (if you are male character) listing and put it in your household possession only 1 for each item. why dont you try it? it works for me... and i always got 77 renown (which gives me 3 slot capacity)

it works for me

here's how i do it:

- get Lezalit or Firentis or any other trainir and max their trining capabilities. It would be a great idea if you also had training skills
- Once you got those two, go and recruit any men but dont sent them to battle yet. put them on the bottom of the list and just circle around. normally after a day or two they will upgrade.
- Afterwards, put them on top of your party list (below your name of course) and keep them there. Once it upgrades again move the upgrade troop on top of the list.
- Fight only Looter or Sea Raider, at least for now, and do not send any cavalry on the battle. Let them fight on their own.
Some will die of course but those who aren't will only upgrade and become stronger.

now there's a tip, perhaps you might wanna try it

have anoyone tried starting from a noble descendant, which is logically would allow you to be a royal, e.g. a King/Queen?

already 150??? i only manage 110 and my combination are very good i can smash about 300 khergitmen (lancers and arches and all cavalries) with casualties less than 10. My formula are as follows:

50 Nord Huscarls
10 Swadian Knights
20 Vaegir Knight
20 Rhodok Sharpshooter
(others are heroes)

Huscarls are the best soldier in the game. i seen 1 huscarl fought against 4 mounted lancers and he still won. And the typical sporadic attack is the best when you use this formula. It works for me.

Oh yeah almost forgot, with this formula, it can siege a fortress held by 170 men (the most i faced when siegeing a fort)
