Hi- I am playing through mb warband 4 the 1st time on single player. I downloaded the floris 2.5 mod and had a quick look b4 going back to native. I now want to put floris's graphical enhancements in native. I don't want anything else- and not the new combat animations (which I don't like) just the graphical enhancements from Floris put in native.

I already got MB tweak for gameplay changes but can't seem to change graphics so easily! Thanks!
  2. -- Official Unofficial 'Ask Questions About Warband Singleplayer Here' Thread --

I am playing single player native vanilla warband. I am new to the game and really like it. Then I tried the floris mod. Too much too soon! But I would love to take the improved graphics from floris (minus the new combat animations) into my native game. And if poss, without losing my savegame in native. How do i go about this? I just want the shiny armour graphics really:smile:
  3. A singleplayer manual

Thanks for that answers- really helps. I am a bit lost as to how to control my army on the battlefield using the right keys and was looking for some general guidelines.
  4. A singleplayer manual

Incredibly, I have read nothing to answer the queries below after going through pages and pages of so-called mount and blade single player guides and looking through threads on different sites..

So-I am playing mount and blade warband single player on normal difficulty and want to know:

    1. What are the actual benefits of marrying as a male (my character is on the point of marriage but I cant see many pluses apart from good relations with her brother or something if you are lucky).

    2. What does the "troop order" in the party menu actually do? I searched far and wide but only managed to find one comment saying that you should put cavalry at the top of it to win battles more easily.

    3. And above all: What is the best way to set up your troop in your average battle? And adding to that- what is the best way to control them? I find myself getting my fingers in a muddle trying to press "1" followed by F1 and don't really get it. I often line up my infantry to shield my archers and then once the armies meet just charge everyone in as I don't have time to control them by then.

    4. Are there any guides that actually cover in detail questions 2 and 3?

    Thanks!

Hi, I am reading the guides here but can find no answers to the following (pretty fundamental) questions anywhere! If anyone has a moment to help I would be really grateful.

Well that is all for now.
  6. Quick Questions/Quick Answers (Unofficial 'Ask Questions Here' Q&A Thread)

Hi I am new to Floris and have only played warband native up until yesterday. The first thing that struck me was how different the combat is...it seems to take longer to land a hit on people. Suddenly it feels like two moves to hit someone. I have to raise my weapon above my head at a different angle b4 I attack... Is this an improvment? I am not sold! It seems a more fluid movement to hit someone on native.
