I wish most events still reached 200 players, and I wish Jailbreak was more active.

And after around 2AM UK time the servers die for a few hours.

That's what I did, but spending an hour joining all the factions then going back to my own and suffering -20 relations to every leader is a pain in the ass. It'd be easier if I knew of a simple fix, if there is one.

you can start as line infantry, line and light cavalry and light infantry too. once you get enought renown you'll become a corporal, then a sergeant, and at last you will become a marshall, but these are merely titles to have a bigger army, oh and nicer uniforms too

I thought of getting a village, fort, or whatever was like my regiment being charged to protect that territory/I was in charge of the forces in that area. Similarly, I thought of appointing a companion as a lord/whatever was me giving him charge of a regiment. But since companions with land are a bit immersion breaking in them being titled "Lord" and dressing like it's still the medieval era.

Then why on earth haven't you played it? It doesn't even feel like an Alpha in all honesty. Not sure what you're on about with the native symbols thing, I haven't come across anything like that.

Go to the factions page and click through the different factions. They either have a native symbol or no symbol.

Also, I made the mistake of making Marnid a lord... He rides around wearing heraldric mail with King Ragnar's banner on it.

I guess I'll give one of these a try. It should be noted I'm already a year and a half into this game, so here's a bit of quick backstory. I am Président Henri Jaques of La République Français. I started out as a Private in a small company of soldiers that fought in the name of L'Empire Français and hunted down bandits that plagued our glorious Empire, and was eventually promoted to Sergeant. Upon reaching that promotion I began participating in several campaigns, and distinguished myself in a campaign against Il Reigno Napoli when I captured two of their officers. During the campaign against Der Rheinbund I was charged with the garrison in Gieben, and since then was given the responsibility of many different cities.

Napoleon was one of my closest allies, but as time went on I couldn't bring myself to fight for his Empire any longer and declared open revolt against L'Empire Français and founded the Second Republic of France, hoping to bring back the values of the Republic. We control most of Der Rheinbund, Britanny, and Prussia. Here's a screenshot of our holdings.

15th of November, 1810

Around 500 days into the game. I have 200K sitting around, two cities, 400 garrison in one of them, 200 in the other, and 100 people in my personal army, and am the Marshal of France. We, France, have conquered Germany and Naples, and we're at war with the rest of the world.

Thinking of boosting my garrisons to around 5/600 each, capturing a new holding and loading as many soldiers as I can into it... Because Napoleon won't give it to me (High controversy from being a Marshal), then I'll declare independence and keep my three cities.

Any advice for me?
