  1. Conquest battles lag?

Too many players funneled towards specific areas of the map I suppose...
  2. Cavalry are Rubbish

    Matim 说:
Horse is horse, no matter if it's light or heavy. There shouldn't be that big speed difference between the light and the heavy one

    Seriously?
  3. Cavalryman LFR

So, as a total noob, I'm looking for a regiment, better if focused on cavalry or with a cavalry detachment. In love with the napoleonic age for more than 10 years now, I'd love to sport those beautiful and shiny uniforms  8-)... I'm an old geezer (well, maybe not so old, but I see so many guys...
  4. Spreading Out needs to be changed.

It just needs to be limited and only active for light infantry.

  6. Commander Battles

    Maboobs 说:
That's a good point actually, but it might be unfair when it's a lone man on a cannon fighting one line left. He could be lucky enough to destroy most of them with the cannon and then kill the rest with a sword. You never know

that's the point. Is boring, unrealistic and even if it could be funny once in while, most of the time is just a loss of time. The idea that a lonely artilleryman stays there manning his cannon against an army is maybe too much for me
  7. Commander Battles

Let me add some other suggestions:

    - Change the winning system. There's no need to go hunting the last bot in the map, it's boring and takes time. Just made that once one team has only 15% of its initial troops left, the battle is finished. Then, if the difference between the remaining troops in the teams is less then, let's say, 10%, it' even. Otherwise, the one with more troops win.

    - We need maps, with names for hills/gorges/rivers/towns. No need to show troops on it, only where you are and how the places are called. It will increaase the collaboration for sure and ease things for commanders.

  8. Nuova Sezione

un saluto agli altri italiani, gran bel dlc poco da dire. Ci sono reggimenti già attivi?
  9. What is your favourite part of NW so far?

    Commander battles. 'nuff said
  10. Public Line battle server

ok, the commander mode (or how is it called) it's simply great, I don't need anything more
  11. Public Line battle server

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look at the commander battle mode.
I still think that with some collaboration tools within the game engine (voice-chat, a better text-chat, map to see/give orders) this kind of gameplay could be much more easy to achieve.
  12. Public Line battle server

    Gragnok 说:
yes there are plenty of players who are intelligent and willing to follow commands in order to do formations and volley fire etc however the issue with doing this on public is not that there are a lack of willing participants but rather that there are too many morons who will happily interfere with other peoples fun and the difficulty of communicating orders and deciding who leads.

that, I can totally understand (even if it surprises me that a niche dlc of a niche game can still reach that kind of person). That's why I hope for a game-mode to incentivate or force this kind of gameplay

    Gishank 说:
Though if you're interested in regimental gameplay and highly disciplined linebattling, you may not like to hear it, but joining a reputable clan is your only option.

the problem with clans, I don't have time. A good clan obviously requires you to attend trainings, matches, be active in a forum, etc. I simply cannot do that anymore unfortunately...
  13. Public Line battle server

I've just bought the dlc after having seen the promotional video (never tried the mod), and I jumped in confident to find a game that was promoting line battles, orders, slow paced gameplay with intense battles. What I've find, it's a strange version of CoD with napoleonic uniforms and weapons...

from Palazzo Vimercati in Vincenza 1° and 4° is Vimercati (with the 8 pointed stars in vece of the capo d'angio, because the Palazzo was made during the XVII century), 2° and 3° Sanseverino (of which Vimercati was a branch); i have also found the description of the Vimercati's coat of arms: Gold, with 3 red bands and capo d'angiò
i have made an "handmade" version just as a reference
