I was going to create a new thread about this but it seems appropriate to ask here. When recruiting prisoners, is the system different than Warband or the Brytenwalda mod? I keep having the same problem of them defecting during the night. For example I had 10 Northmathr Vikingrs as prisoners. They agreed to join my party when I offered them freedom. That night, they sneaked away. Is this WAD? This seems to keep happening. The only thing I can think of is when they joined, I suffered a massive morale hit. Is this causing them to immediately leave the party? I just want to get to the bottom of this problem. I have lost many high quality troops this way.

I had the same issue last evening. I would like to add, just in case some users don't realize it, your boats have a limit to the number of men they can carry. To join the fleet leaving Ribe for Englaland, I had to either purchase another boat or dismiss half my army. In other words you can't set sail with too many men.
