  1. 63e NA Siege Server

    Hello

I noticed that me and my friends account were banned again. We were wondering why? It seems both of us are having issues with bans lately even though we havent committed any notable offense. My GUID is 429470

    My girlfriend's GUID is 1471163

Note, sometime last sunday when we were playing together (I use my official name "32nd Fabulous" interchangeably between both accounts), where my girlfriend used her name "Donzibod", I was permabanned while playing for being on the "Ban on sight list"

However later that day I was unbanned again. My friends on the server Casca, Kam, ECB, Bauer, Lightblade, were just as confused as I am as to why I was on the ban on sight list then got unbanned.

Today I realized both mine and my girlfriends accounts got banned again. I would like to ask for a reason as to why we were banned. We believe we did not commit any notable offense. Especially since we have barely played since the "Ban on sight" incident a few days back

My most probable guess is that we were both banned for impersonation, for which a similiar incident happened a while back. Note that we play on the server together often and we interchange names because we use both Steam accounts on and off. If this was the reason as to our ban I would like to respectfully request an unban

    Thanks

    Hello

I just logged on tonight to see that I've been banned
Temp or Perm, I realize it could have been something I have said over chat in the past few weeks

I would like to note that whatever I said it was meant to be taken as good humor. But sometimes I realize I could have stepped over the line or the humor is not always that obvious. I would like to sincerely apologize for whatever I said and would like to appeal for a ban.  I love this server to death

Thanks for your time. My GUID is 1471163

    Hello

    NAME: 32nd_Lt_Fabulouss
    GUID:  429470

Ive been banned for more many months after calling admin names and being disrespectful to staff. I sincerely regret my actions and I admit that my actions in that time was rage-fueled
I was having a bad time in general after losing 2 family members and just things not going out so well

Ive managed to reclaim my life and now I successfully graduated University, working on several startup projects and applying for grad school. I am ready to be an active part of the 63e community. If you could lift the ban which was long enough for me to change, than it would be greatly appreciated

In fact the ban was so long ago I dont even remember the people that banned me. Apologies for that.

    Hello

The last I played on 63e was in May of 2015 (11 months ago). I logged back on today to see that 63e was on but it seems I am permabanned since it says "You are banned from this server"
After 11 months? really? In fact Ive been banned for so long it is impossible to recall why, who or what I was banned for. I think whatever my offense i would have learned by now

When we talk about units, the first thing they should do is get rid of the Warband system where you recruit a peasant and level him up to a knight. It's too gamey and nonsensical.
The right way to do it would be to recruit troops at villages where you get cheap peasant units with just one or maybe two upgrades (peasant -> spearman/hunter)
Then you recruit a bit better troops in cities (standard infantry with spearmen/swordmen, crossbowmen, maybe some light but relatively expensive cavalry)
And then the best units you recruit at castles: cavalry(men at arms, squires), experienced infantry and veteran crossbowmen/archers that can be upgraded to knights and "elite" troops.

Basically, instead of a single big tree you get three smaller ones that make much more sense. That would be much more historically accurate and in my opinion, more interesting and balanced.

actually, knights and nobles are often, by definition, landowners. So the stuff you mention are too marginalizing a "class" to its stereotypical belonging.

Also lets not forget that this period, amongst others, is a time of constant warfare. Social castes and classes often mix and mangle during times of war. An example is the Warring States Period (both China, 2AD, Korea, 7AD, and Japan, 15AD) where common foot soldiers often achieved a generalissimo or a noble status through their services in war or their meritocracy, so as far as I see it, the "single-level"ing system is just as unrealistic as what you mention

Ive heard that the release date has been announced to be December 11th, 2016

I would also like to add what no one seems to talk about: Soundtrack

I found M&B's track a bit lackluster. They should sample other great OSTs and come up with more epic tracks like some of these:

Like a couple people have said i think.
the 4 digits can be + prisoners like 27+5
    So
1+1 looks the same menacingly as 111.

I consider a good idea if prisoners would not be unstacked from soldiers (without a good scouting skill).
That is 95+25 could be disgusted into `???` (but not even `????`).
But stacking + into size is something that produces more lolz than sense.

    uhh no, 1+1 = ?+?

The game should have options: Sandbox and Legacy sandbox.

Sandbox -> 1 character, same mechanics as warband
Legacy sandbox -> Self explained really. Aging, sons and daughters who claim the throne, extended diplomacies to support the mechanics etc.

Taleworlds forum is like one of those villages full of peasant old men and women who scream ''OH NO, OUTSIDERS, OH NO, WE DONT WANT NEW THINGS'. You guys should really go play your 90s games or something.  You want to be old grumpy men, thats fine, the thing is nobody cares and no developer ever cared about the vocal minorities.

On topic, It would be cool if your son or daughter could be appearance-customized by you. Also, I think you should be able to have them as companion and manage the skills they learn etc. Or you can point them to have their own armies.

    no...

this is a waste of coding and effort
Just add aging system but not too fast. I like it that way. Allows you to develop new characters too

You know what really annoys me, its all these features rather then telling us what some of us want to know, like me.
    When it will be released
When it will be early accessed/beta/alpha

And they MUST know this, because it would be madness to let a studio just go wild for years with an unlimited budget.

I cant be the only one here who actually doesn't care about an ageing feature and found it a waste of blog space- blogs that we only get every 3-4 months.
The longer they take with this is even longer before it hits its peak in terms of mods and making it better then what it is.
M&B warband came out a few years ago and is only just hitting its prime with mods like brytenwalda (and VC), ACOK, gekokujo, floris, warsword (soon...) and many more.

I think for now though its time to call it for me.
This game aint coming out before or even close to warhammer total war or Eternal crusade and theres a few others on my horizon that have made better efforts with their communities to keep them relatively in the loop as it were.

it has been confirmed the release is December 2016

I would rather say that the amount of '?' in that party maybe accounts for the number of lords/warbands joined as a single map entity. Just my guess.

Possible, but my guess is from the fact that so far in the past 2 games, the world models and parties show only 2 parameters- A number and its Color. The number shows size of the party and color shows faction allegiance. It seems the latter is already true, which means it is likely for the former to be true as well (party size)

    Twezie 说:
You could get the parties that large in warband too, but you couldnt fight with them. Just saying

thats true. There is theoretically no size limit to how big parties can be

But individual party sizes in Warband were only as large as the battles could support. I never saw more than 250+ simultaneous persons in a battlefield, and likewise I never recall seeing a normal warband with 250+ members in ONE party (not a group). If that trend is to continue.......
  15. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 12 - The Passage Of Time

    So
    Much
    Hype

    BTW

Guys I noticed something when watching the "seasons" video

    Untitled_zpslkoiem8j.png

Now assuming the number of "?" represents the number of digits of party members (this is reasonable since small peasant parties are single digits, while larger caravan parties are in 2- 3 digits)
I think to answer all of your "will Bannerlord have larger battles" it would be partially YES.
4 Digit parties means in the thousands, with a possible max size of 9999

Notice how the party model for the 4-digit ? is a military horseman/rider?
Likely army-parties are going to number in the thousands now and Bannerlord will support much larger and epic battles

    Which is good
For my beastily computer I wouldnt mind engagements in the tens of thousands

Definately looks very impressive so far. What we really need though are large amounts of troops, I'd rather have less quality in return for more troops at a single battle. Also hope they will apply overarm use of single handed spears.

And it will have multiplayer right?

In addition to large # of troops, there needs to be more entry points

I hope the Deployment option can change this- you deploy your troops with formations before a battle, such as the classic
      AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
                                                                                                                                                                                          CCCCCCCC IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII CCCCCCCC
                                                                                                                                                                                          CCCCCCCC IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII CCCCCCCC
                                                                                                                                                                                                            IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
    C = Cavalry,,,, A = Archers,,,, I = Infantry
formation, similar to the one in Total War

Also not only multiple entry points, there needs to be multiple reinforcement spawn entires. Currently reinforcements suddenly materialize out of nowhere in the ******** middle of the battlefield. That is not cool.

  17. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 11 - Some Context

I agree. There is no ******** way a co-op campaign can be made into the M&B agenda. Its not like the turn-based Total War campaigns, it is a simultaneous world where everything is happening at once.
So many problems that its not even possible to list

For one I doubt there is ever gonna be a co-op for bannerlord and for two, even if the developers are thinking of it, I highly discourage it. Not worth the effort to revamp the entire campaign mechanic just to make it compatible for co-op, instead, it would be best to keep improving the engine. Support larger battles, cities, scenes, moddability etc
  18. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 11 - Some Context

    Lets get some things straight

    1) **** coop campaigns, those are useless no one cares for them. Not to mention the **** ton of problems. Its not worth a penny of effort
    2) What info is there about the size/scale of battles? Are 1500+ finally possible?
