    Episode 5 is up. The battles in question were so huge that I'll probably take another two updates describing them adequately. The formations absolutely made them, though - really gave a proper ebb and flow to it.

    Missing killer

    I had this exact same problem in Tadsamesh in .950.

    Never once saw the 'nervous man' no matter how many times I re-entered.

    Battle for Sicily 0.500 for M&B 0.808 now available, probably will have bugs

    The rate of progress is very impressive, nijis. As is the mod itself - it's the best representation of medieval warfare I've yet seen in a game. The system of vassalage and so on is wonderful, the little extras like being able to raise a levy or whatever just add to it. First class, five stars, call it what you want - this is now my favourite mod and got me playing M&B again.

    The Haubergeon should definitely weigh less - around 12.0, let's say - as a large part of its real-life qualities was to allow more mobility than a full hauberk.

    As an addition to my previous bug report, a few posts up from this one, it seems that I get this 'assertion failed' crash to desktop upon joining any battle already in progress, not just ones with more than two NPC parties.

    Probably been reported before, but it's not in the first post, so:

    Crash to desktop with 'assertion error' dialogue box upon completion of a battle which involves more than 2 NPC parties. In this case it was 2 parties of manhunters versus Vaegir Deserters and Mountain Bandits. I joined, fought, beat the enemy, pressed tab to exit the battle, and it crashed.

    You know the Requiem for a Dream music, even if you don't realise it. It's used for loads of stuff.

    If I recall correctly, it was actually used in one of the trailers for Lord of the Rings.

    Would it be possible to make AI join fights? For example, If you see the remains of a great host, you think: ''Tis' is gonna be easy'' and you attack. You're doing pretty well, and it's gonna be destroyed in no time. But, a lesser host pops up and  starts to smash your boyz. It would make fights more interesting, as you won't know if more enemies are going to attack you.
    It can't be done due to the nature of M&B - joining a fight pauses time, so even if it was worked out that NPC parties could join fights in progress, they could never join any fights that your own party was involved in.

    Would it be possible to integrate some of the feudal troops with the Gondorian armies? I think it'd be a great thing for flavour.

    Also, I thought that the Orc Great Falchion would look much more menacing in the hands of a troll than the Orc Falchion does. Although as it's hand-and-a-half, you might have to give the troll a buckler or something for it to work with the troll armour, which wouldn't be terribly good, I suppose.

    That could be implemented with an 'allied' option in Minas Morgul, couldn't it? In the town-options menu, you get a 'Cirith Ungol' option and it moves you into Mordor.
