    It seems that, for Castle Exteriors, Entry Point 47 designates last portion of defender archers during sieges, if the fief is designated as "tower siege"), but not a guard placement spot (unlike 40-46, which designate both things), nor does it have effect when the fief if "ladder siege".

    Interestingly, there were some downloads of my small scenes fixpack, which were not me testing moddb...

    So I've added a bit more of the fixed scenes into it.

    EDIT: And then, added even more scenes into it. But next time someone, please, remind not to make siege towers, their waypoints are too tedious to adjust!

    Did she really removed the bandits from the 8.0? Why??
    I was so hopeful to find a better version of this mod after not playing Warband for 3 years...
    There are plenty of bandits out there.

    Of course, if there are any objections (from Cozur, for example) I will take them down immediately.

    So, while having a blast with ACOK 8.0 I got rather annoyed by AI being stuck at large trees ("aspen"s) in various battle scenes.

    And so I found out a lot of the battle scenes do not have AI navmesh.

    And then I decided to edit them (and maybe then send them to Cozur, or just upload as an addon on moddb or whatever.)

    But, turns out, some scenes I can only edit long enough if they are loaded right after I start the game (otherwise - crash). Yet them battlescenes are chosen randomly when the battle starts...

    So my question is - is there a convenient way to load EXACT battle scene I need?

    @Cozur And what do I do with the couple dozens of scenes I've already edited to be better? :wink:

    That's exactly the point of getting caught by the guards, it's not supposed to be fun. If you get catched (which is anyway only happening at the early game, later it gets more easy) they discovered you while checking your person, so they are close to you ^^
    I agree that realistically it should be like that, but the player is specifically given a chance to get away by the event, so that chance should not be automatically taken away just because of scenery (especially that in many Taleworlds-provided towns and castles player already can escape and is not swarmed right away.)

    No one is interested or asks about this, but right now I am having a blast with ACOK 8.0 !

    Created a character, the goal, as I like to set it, was to prevent King's Landing from falling (except to Player's forces).

    300-sometning days later, my character's fledgling faction is threatened by the impending war with the huge Westerlands, who control more land than the Vale initially and have no serious enemies (Riverlands and Dragonstone reduced to 1 castle each (and even those I have provided for them in the North, Reach signed a peace treaty and is another superpower, Stormlands retreating to Essos (again to a remote castle I've provided for then in Norvoshi lands), and King's Landing was not taken by anyone, hence Myrcella is alive. Oh, Lord Commander Mormont and King Stark do not fare as well, both murdered by their own people).

    Ah... Is not this true entertainment, to command a team of 29 immortal machine-gunners longbowmen, to court and marry a beautiful green-eyed southern lady, to help peaceful peasants fend off bandits just before the harvesting season?

    (Ah, yes, I do use some tweaks, major being having all the companions and not any shield-bash.)

    When the player tries to sneak in an enemy castle or town and is recognised, the guards spawn "around" player's Entry Point (Entry Point 1 for Castle, Entry Point 0 for Town).

    this leads to two predicaments:

    1) If there are no obstacles at all, the guards just swarm and knock out the Player, which is not fun. So there should be some ladders, fences, tables, bridges, jumps-to-other-levels etc. around these entry points.

    2) If there is not enough free area around and there are some inaccessible enclosures, the guards may spawn inside those enclosures and be... inaccessible. So there should be no closed off spaces near these Entry Points, everywhere the guards may spawn, the player must have a path to.

    Nothing beats going to Rosby, Old Oak or Rook's Rest to liberate some stranded lord... And discovering there is no Passage (Menu Item 7) to the dungeon in the scene =D

    (And, judging by how other versions were handled, ModDb would have it too, eventually...)

    Ah, the savior of my love life and plastic surgeon of my wife's. Please tell me how to integrate female faces from Perisno mod to ACOK without changing the male head mesh. I'm not so confident in dabbling with those brf and py files myself :sad:

    Well, I can not provide precise instruction for this, but you can use, as a reference, my small guide on a similar exchange for one of the previous versions.


    Basically, you need to find female face mesh in .brf AND exchange it for desired female face mesh AND exchange testures for female face variants too.

    After all my companions have >7 Power Draw and a Masterwork Decorated Longbow... It becomes rather difficult to beat them... So, I would back the companion restriction idea, but not because they make it easy, but because they make it difficult...

    Or maybe ranged weapons could be disabled in tournaments?

    5. The "asthetics" of native female heads makes marriage a tough idea to swallow.

    A man marries a woman not because she looks good, but because he sees how good she looks! Just let your character emrace the true love =D

    (Also female faces used in some previous versions made all the women look the same... Anyway, it is possible to change faces to those of your liking. With some tinkering.)

    She gave you her favor (it either improved your relation with Bravos or increased your renown slightly, I do not recall which).
    You promised her a favor in return.
    But, currently, she will never ask you to do anything.
    This looks like a hook up for a future quest.
    (Or maybe a leftover from a removed one?)

    Honor - You only get that with "Good" lords. And it is from Native Warband. Although maybe it is indeed OP. But it is not ACoK.

    Loyalty - The loyalty has somewhat complex calculations behind it, including, among other things, relation to liege and average relation to other lords in the faction. For "good" lords relation to the liege is high and generally would not decline, and average relation to other lords in the faction would be high too if the only lords who stayed are "good". So yes, it is hard to get "good" lords to defect. Again, this is Native design. Unfortunately this is amplified by the bug where defeated (off-map) lords from a defeated (no parties on the map) faction would never "switch" to player's faction (but they do "switch" to other factions). Defecting lords from a dying faction (no fiefs) still do defect to player's faction, but they only defect when there are no other lords from that faction near them.

    Jamie has wrong culture assigned, so he auto-disbands units he recruits, one can "fix" this with savegame editor, somewhere in my posts here should be an explanation.
