Literally this happened on day one of a new game. So no opportunity
+1 I used to play realistic when I first started but then I would never rescue lords and the game could bug out pathfinding or spawning location during a high stakes siege and it felt cheated. I accept the consequences of my actions in game, but I play free save to avoid these situations
The morale system in warband accounts for this in a minor way, it may be more pronounced in bannerlord but for many people mixing and creating the army they want is part of the fun so I doubt it will become super restrictive
I would like this feature. I use manual block now after 2500 hours of Warband, however I didn't start that way. Also I am still bad a manual block so I compensate by having a shield and being aggressive. My life expectancy greatly shortens when my shield breaks.
Its probably a combination of the large helmet on the tiny body with the ambivalent look on the child's face as he holds the training sword with two hands. This is a child destined to a life of violence, it doesn't matter what he has to say about it so he might as well face it without complaint.
Yeah if I add all my hours from prior to steam I probably have 2500 total. However I never found any mod or version of the game where I actually enjoyed the siege battles. Even in Pendor I found them to be buggy and an annoying means to an end rather than fun. That is why I only full conquered the map as king once in Calradia (Diplomacy) and once in Pendor. I usually content myself with a town or two and play that way for awhile and then its on to a new character. Sieges in Bannerlord look amazing, and it is the one feature that they needed to change to make warband the best game of all time for me. If Bannerlord was just Warband with good sieges it would still be my game of the decade.
Lol I'm not "good" at the game as far as action and fighting myself so I could never really survive those super long sieges. I need to have the troops for it, or to make sure that they don't.
My favorite by far.
