So I been using the same battle tactics, forever.
1 is infantry line, 2 is archers forming loose formation, 3 is calvery, 4 is horse calvery
2 stand in back in elevated high ground, 1 attack up front, 3 maneuver to the left flank to flank, 3 maneuver to the right flank to flank
as showed in picture below.

but now I am trying to explore new battle tactics, if you guys have any better ideas


the best battle tactics should be :
1. simple enough to mange with a series of battle orders,
2. a repeatable process that have best killing rates while maintain low causalities

let's share yours best battle tactics and learn from each other!

Yea,the A.I seems to be dumber.
I remember before they would actually wait a bit before forming armies,in the meanwhile the attackers would rush to sieging,thus making the defender forming a big enough army to insue a win.

Shadowing is also mostly gone.
Parties following an army,keeping their distance until more of them arrive and then they jump in to kill the army.

Armies also sort of never try to defend or shadow,they now also FOR SOME reason chase small parties but not shadow anymore,the **** TW?
Also they play football with fiefs,which is atrocious.

When did they make the parties so dumb?

So, it looks like there is a way, at least for Xbox users, although it is quite a workaround.

If it's a item troops use then it should be possible for them to appear in loot, the more expensive the item, the more loot score (defeating more and higher tier units, also roguery skill) is needed to have a chance of it showing up in loot. So taking out Aserai owned armies or towns with good garrisons is your best bet.
